Centipede Cocktail

Grabbed this guy this morning. Need to rebuild the second player trackball, but otherwise it's solid. And even has a screen without burn. Super excited to introduce my 8 year old daughter to the beauty of Centipede with a trackball!

my other 3 cabs were crimes of opportunity, just grabbed the coolest thing available at the time. centipede though i specifically sought out. i could write an entire essay on why i believe its THE classic game.

if its not too personal a question, i'm curious on the price.

I definitely agree with you on it being THE classic. It's so playable and also simulanteously so difficult. I love how accessible it is to both.the novice and expert.

Definitely not too personal, I grabbed it for $550 and that included the original screen which fully works, just has burn. And the new overlays for the controls that I just need to put on.

    Hell yea man.
    Nice score.
I have a Centipede cab, but it needs a little work before its fully playable. All original though except for the trackball, I put one of those clear green light-up ones in it.
The old one was getting worn and I always thought the light-up ones looked cool.

Centipede is one I sought out in particular as well. Not only is it friendly to both novice and expert, but male and female as well. Ive heard several women who lived through that era say thats the only video game they ever liked. Pacman and Ms Pacman may fit that description as well, but not too many others.
