1. Retrowave / Synthwave

08-21-2020 at 11:09 AM never thought I would be a fan of chiptunes or synth music in general, but I am absolutely hooked. This 17 hour playlist is always on while I work, or am outside in the pool. Sure, I mix it up a bit with Megadeth ...

I bit the bullet and spent the 5 bucks to get this game. I really enjoy it. I love shooters so I was eager to use my x-arcade tankstick, but sadly one of the controls requires aiming with a mouse or an analogue stick. So I used the X-Box controller instead and quickly got into the flow of ...

I know this is a video game site, and we all know what recently happened involving a former community member. I don't want to give that any more attention. We have all suffered losses in our lives. Loss of a loved one, loss of a friend. Close family members. Sudden and tragic, or from a prolonged ...

In the Raspberry Pi emulation world, most of the major front ends support the scraping of media files in order to make the display menu more interesting. Box art, marquees, game play videos, they are all available to augment your collection of roms. These files have been collected and tweaked by ...

But now they have made a comeback and people outside of the arcade world are contributing ...

Over the weekend I had a breakthrough in my quest to get 240p or 480p out of a raspberry pi to a CRT.

There are 4 ways to get video from a Raspberry Pi. HDMI, Composite, using a header, or dircectly soldering to some video out posts. I tried the HDMI route but kept failing.
