Thoroughly enjoying Pinball FX's challenge mode. I needed to beat Mr. Paypusen. Accidentally dominated. I thought the timer was broken or something. It stayed at 19 seconds for the longest time. Must have something to do with getting extra points and bonus time.

So I am investigating the early 80's technology. I love blending new tech with old tech. If I can get this Cybernex terminal up and running I can start trying to connect it to various serial ports (Raspberry Pi, some old GPS devices I have lying around, anything I can think of). This is the ...

  11. Making your mark on gaming culture

    06-01-2021 at 09:58 AM
For the past 10 years I have been greatly enjoying the resurgence of Arcades, Pinball (never really went away) and retro games. For me anyway the gaming world was all about the latest and greatest graphics on a PC. With a small family I just didn't have time to invest in many hobbies or whatnot, ...

A fundraiser created by Karl Jobst has reached its target of $50,000 AUD. Over 1,100 donors have decided to help in the battle against Billy Mitchell's seemingly endless lawsuits.

One person (Adam Clegg) was so moved that he donated $13,000. That is an impressive amount of money and shows ...

Believe it or not, my friend James got this beast up and running! At first he wanted to simply harvest one of the floppies, but when he had it in his hands he decided to see if it would boot. We got it to read the massive 640K ram bank and it was pumping out a display to a monitor. We could ...
