So, I picked up a bunch of Colecovision games recently (for my Console that's still a project), but one of the ones I hadn't heard of before was the game "Illusions". And after looking it up... I'm SO ready to give this strange thing a try!
  2. Some Quality Colecovision Controller Soldering Work

    09-28-2019 at 06:41 PM
I've got my power switch cleaned and replaced on my Colecovision, and that's working solidly now. So I've started to move on to cleaning the controllers, as they're pretty flaky, and seeing if that solves the lack of action buttons working. Opened up the first one, and this is what greeted ...
  3. Retro Consoles rock with modern Accessories

    09-20-2019 at 09:29 AM
Now that I have the SNES to a working point, I've discovered just now nice it is to play these retro consoles with all the modern accessories available. In this case, first, I have the video output through the HD Retrovision SNES component cable - and wow, does it look nice. Having been playing the ...
  4. "New" retro consoles in my collection

Picked up these two over the last few days... ok, less picked up, and more got as b-day gifts. But still, I own them now. :)Both are going to need some maintenance to get them into full working order, as it seems both have cartridge slot flakiness. Not too worried about taking care of it though, I suspect ...

Posted this thread on Twitter earlier today, and thought I'd share it here:
After spending a fair amount of time playing on my Saturn this last weekend, I have to say I think that entire generation is very aesthetically displeasing. Things look so... ugly... across the vast majority of games. ...

As there's been a general unrest with the TG user base toward site work, I'd like to suggest something to @Jace Hall , @SincerelyFranny , and the @admin staff .

One of the big things that creates this feeling of disconnect and disinterest between the staff and users is the lack of fixes that ...

OK, so based on @Jace Hall 's comments in a thread, sounds like we need a larger discussion on how the community can get involved in helping with maintaining Twin Galaxies. I believe we should try and identify the places that we think it's appropriate for community members to be allowed to ...

Twin Galaxies needs more tracks where people CAN use glitches in them. I'm not saying instead of the no-glitch ones, but alongside.
