Space Invaders: Octopus and Squids



I am watching the first episode of High Score on Netflix. The creator of Space Invaders shows how the aliens are actually sea creatures! Very interesting.

    I can buy that.

    Now that it's said "out loud", it almost seems obvious, but I suppose that it's open to however someone wants to interpret it-

    They DO seem to be based on sea-creatures tho.


    Pretty neat.

    I thought this was common knowledge. They kept up with the theme in other games ever since. Here's some space sea baddies from Darius.

    I am up to episode 4. So far, the 1st one is the best.

    There is some cool rare footage of the past Atari/NES/ and Genesis tournaments...Otherwise, its just another typical video game documentary.
