I would also like these rules applied to Mame submissions. Whether they are or not won't change what I will do. It's a lot of work to do an analysis on a mame submission. A lot of steps are required and knowledge of how to do them, I don't have all the knowledge or expertise for 100% ...

I would like for a universal rule applied to multiplayer games. The rules on many of these tracks are very generic and up for interpretation to the negative side of competition. A two player or 3 player game is in the name and should be played that way. Meaning as soon as one of the other players ...

Lately I've been experimenting with shift registers that the NES uses for controls. One of my favorite (looking) controllers for the system is the nes advantage, but I don't enjoy how it operates. One of my projects I've been working on is creating a pcb and she'll for a custom nes advantage controller ...

Hi guys!I am new to the site, and just submitted my first record attempt, after registering(Gameboy Tetris Points Rank#17). I just had a couple questions if someone could be kind to answer them?1. If I break my own score, can I immediately post that submission, and would it simply raise my rank in ...

What I find so interesting about the arcade world is the communities that have sprung up in support of ancient machines and games. Some of us grew up next to an arcade, some only heard about them from the old timers. But now they have made a comeback and people outside of the arcade world are contributing ...

I got an e-mail from Google. Much like the Timeline feature which tracks your every move on GPS, the recording of audio is now optional. When you finally get to the option that you knew nothing about you'll find out it's been recording all along. Not that this behaviour was any kind of secret ...

I will not say the game, but what happens to a submission like this when the twitch video is linked to but is no longer viewable through Twitch? Part of the last phase of development for the The Promised End MH project is to dial in the difficulty to be as accessible as possible for most players while still making it challenging for experts. Over the weekend I had a breakthrough in my quest to get 240p or 480p out of a raspberry pi to a CRT.

There are 4 ways to get video from a Raspberry Pi. HDMI, Composite, using a header, or dircectly soldering to some video out posts. I tried the HDMI route but kept failing.

I've been asked to provide this list for reference: for Intellivision adjudicators and players ... there are scores and number of lives that run out of characters on the display.
