My iPhone ate my WR footage

Hey everyone! Reclaiming some iOS WRs lately. Too bad I didn’t get the footage for this one. It was the first time I advanced the clock to midnight and played all illusion challenges. I’ll reattempt soon.

Theatre of Magic, woot, one of my favorite pins! I know and believe you did it, but the naysayers are often a ridiculous lot. They'll even dismiss the countless scores verified on Aurcade.com, which has been owned by Galloping Ghost Arcade for a few years now. Congrats Ben-JAM'IN! :) Đức

Theatre of Magic plays so well. Such a well done pinball table. It’s one of my favorites too alongside Medieval Madness.

I have other favorites but they’re more rare and I never see them in the wild (Black Hole and Haunted House to name a couple).

Nice to know I’m not the only one. The screen recorder will stop recording when you’ve still got space left and you won’t find out til after the fact. It just makes it that much stranger that I don’t have the same issues with the video camera. When you finally get it recorded, it’ll probably be even better than this one, so don’t worry about it

    Ok I just recorded a 2.5M

I’m submitting it. Gotta have room to improve later, you know...

    :)

EDIT: Nope. Ate it again. I swear I have space free to do this. Sigh.

    That's awful.

I last footage a few months ago on a WR. GoPro died. I didn't hear any low battery warning (beeping). Just found out at the end.. Hah!

Ugh I know that feeling too. I’ve been using webcams for almost everything since this happened to me a couple times in a row. But now that I have a couple new handy cams I use for the band, I’m going to transition back to those instead of webcams. I have too many systems set up in too many places to be able to use my pc webcam effectively, and the handy cams record KILLER audio and have days worth of capacity.

I really struggle playing pinball well on the phones. Congrats, Ben! :D

Many recording apps stop recording around 3.5-4GB in file size. Depending on the game that could be anywhere from 20 minutes to 3+ hours - lots of factors at play, so "practice" recording by stopping in between attempts.

I just had an SSD eat a run too. Not nearly as bad as yours, but I do feel your pain.

you and me both... your fingers wander the slightest bit outside the flipper boxes, and before you know it, you’re dropping balls you’d never drop on a console or pc

Playing pinball on phone is definitely a challenge when it comes to keeping your thumbs in the right position. And the iPhone 6 is not great when it comes to recognizing touch in rapid succession. For example the Tomb Of The Mask record I have was done on an iPhone 4 and it was much better at touch recognition. I can’t get a very good score on my 6.

The 6 is the same one I use. I wonder how long we're gonna get to keep them before Apple forces us into buying something new?
