Greetings! And thanks for helping to adjudicate my Choplifter! score.

I was a LOOOONG time lurker as well.
Ive always been interested in Video Game World Records and had visited the site once or twice before KoK came out.
Once I saw KoK I was pretty much hooked. I'd pop in once or twice a year to see what was going on.

I remember years ago looking into joining TG and it looked to be a real hassle to submit, I believe you may have even had to pay for submissions. Once Mr Hall took over TG it became much more accessible, though I wasnt too keen on using my real name, so it wasnt until 2018 I finally made an account, but I had been somewhat familiar with the sight for at least a decade prior.

What games interest you? What games are you thinking of submitting to? How did you come to find out about TG?

I am currently gearing up for a JROK based Robotron run. I will probably do a Joust Terry run, and I want to launch a JROK Bubbles track.

Those are the ones I feel I can put a top 10 score on. Top 50 looking to do an arcade pcb of Donkey Kong Junior run.

Those are what I have right now. Maybe a mame run too for something odd but focusing on Williams and DK Junior Pcb.

    Excited!

JROK is amazing technology. Can you share some of your experiences with it? Where did you get it, have you noticed any differences between it and original (I know there are none!).

    :)

Put simply fpga is amazing. I had fooled around with mame and other multi boards and my biggest thing g was 'timing'. playing those twitch games you have to be spot on. And the jrok from my 'limited' experience is spot on. I have played a tonne of Robotron at a barcade in town and this is identical. As far as I can tell. Never felt any lag, behaviors feel perfect, and its just pure fun.

I feel fpga is a viable Option to having a level playfield for 'accurate' gameplay. Less variables than mame and repeatable. I vote yes! Ha.
