Submission Queue: Good News

My Raspberry Pi submission queue counter just made a happy beep to get my attention. When I looked up I saw that the queue is now at 694.

Very encouraging.

not really, cause the verified scores disappear from the database.

That matter should be resolving each day as the back end services grind through and update the data.

That's because less people are submitting because more and more people are quitting the site.

Thought it, typed it, never posted it. Yep, not that many new faces, not that many old faces anymore either.

From what I see, the counter goes up and down all day long. It is not a constant downward trend. I have seen it as high as 990 and as low as 695.

    We will see.

Cheer up Glen! Good things are right around the corner.

Just wait when it hits 15 and doesn't break the threshold of 25.

i agree i think the hardcore adjudicators are adjudciating just as much, but less people are submitting so the backlog is being got to

I guess its sort of a positive to not have such a large queue, so i will acknowledge that silver lining

Based on my observations, the number reduced is due solely to one factor ... hundreds of Jared's Oswald's 5 to 12 month old Guitar Hero subs are finally completing the TGSAP process. We have just as many non-Jared submissions in the queue today as we did the day I joined, and as many as we have generally had ever since, with new subs coming in as fast as non-Jared subs are accepted.

While the claim of having less submitters may be true, the ones who do submit are submitting many on average.

I just checked. There are currently 123 Jared Oswald subs in the queue, or 17.7% of all subs. 3 months ago when the queue was over 1,200 subs, Jared's subs accounted for about 800 of them. I remember mentioning at the time that his subs accounted for more than two-thirds of subs in the queue. Fortunately, thats no longer the case ... finally LOL

I've been/trying to submit about 10 a day. Took a week off last week but will probably get back to it. I'd say about 10-15 of us make up 90% of the submissions. Haven't looked, not going to look. You, Matthew, Shaun, Rodrigo, Andrew, Jared, Roger, Pixe, myself and probably Mark are the majority. With some regulars in there that don't post as much but do post often just not in bulk
