i was at disney some years back in their arcade. they had fix it felix machines everywhere. not all lined up like you might thhink. in one area, basically stairwell/foyer/open area there were 3 in a corner i remember. in another area near modern games there was one. in the classic area there were a few. they were all damanged in slighlty different ways like you'd expect for old machines. a rip here or there in the stickers. i had never heard of the game, and i usually consider myself to know a lot, i checked the year on the machine and saw 83. i had to spend time that time at night in the hotel looking up the story.

they really went through ALOT of effort to create the illusion its an old game. right down to simulating 30+ years of wear

i know this post is about homebrews combing with people releasing them physcially, but thought i'd share the fix it felix story

i didnt think to take pcitures sadly. i fell for believing it was an old machine that i just didnt know about. so i saw it as me just learning common knowledge that somehow escaped me. i didnt realize i was witnessing a great con

In my case, I usually take so many photos I forget to actually play and enjoy the machines. Can't do it all I guess.
