Duke Nukem: 3DS

I first played this on a PC when it was a 2D platform game. I loved it bit it could not compete with SNES games.

    Im a big Duke fan.
Come to think of it he may be my favorite video game character of all time.

The first Duke Nukem game I played was 'Time to Kill' after Santa brought me a copy Xmas '98. It was on PS1. I loved that game. After that I was a duke fanboy for life.
I haven't played the 1st two Duke games on pc, and I've only played maybe 10 minutes of DN Forever, but other than those 3 (and maybe a couple mobile versions) I'm thinking I've played and beat just about every other one in the series.

Zero Hour on N64 I really enjoyed and have fond memories of. Manhattan Project is unique to the series in being the lone title to take a sideways SMB-like view, and is another one I really liked.

How awesome is that top picture you posted? The Duke3D one. I have always loved that piece of art. Its iconic, that one piece really defined him, and how everyone imagines him. I've toyed with the idea of getting it as a tattoo several times.
The voice acting by John Saint John really pulled the entire character together too, it probably wouldnt have turned out to be as popular had he not been a part of the series.

Im sure part of the reason the DN franchise is so appealing to me is because some of my favorite films are those 80's "macho" films like Cobra, Robocop, Predator, Terminator, Commando, Escape from NY (and everything else Kurt Russel does)...and without getting too political let just say Duke and I share certain philosophies and are both politically incorrect hahaha. So all that really jives with me..... Of course me being an edgy 7th grader, playing this edgy game, it all fit no doubt nostalgia is really why I love DN so much, though many of those games still hold up to this day IMO
