Cancellations

Dear all,

In order to keep the cancellation of submissions down to a minimum we have already added the requirement to enter the score/time twice and the ability to add footage to an existing submission for when the video did not upload correctly. We have also already upgraded the upload functionality.

In addition to these changes, based on community feedback, we have now changed how long cancelled scores remain in the cancelled forum from five to ten days. After this period cancelled scores will automatically move to the rejected forum. This change is intended to help heavy adjudicators keep track of scores they have voted on that are subsequently cancelled.

Hi Dave, has the team given any thought to having submissions expire after a certain period of time?

Like if a year passes and it has not been accepted or rejected, it will expire and the cancellation flag would automatically be set.

I still think we need to add to the submission form how to enter times properly, especially the millisecond.

eg. To enter a time of 32.50 you need to as 32.500 for your time to be correct. Anyway keep up the good work!

This is definitely a good move, but the root issue still remains. Why do people have to change thier vote in order to not lose cred when a submission is canclled.

Why does the system have to be set up like that? What's the benefit of this process? Why does TG chose to keep an unfair system that makes no sense?
