Gran Turismo for the PSP now on the leaderboards.

Shaun, I see you donated to the track so I would like to ask if there is any nuances I need to be aware of going into the rest of the game when it comes to track making. I'm not trying start a "all wheels on the track" debate but I would like to have a public discussion if necessary.

I have only just started trying out the driving challenges so I don't know about any racing issues. Thanks in advance.

Hey Brandon - I haven't played this variation of Gran Turismo on the PSP. I'm surprised this wasn't on the scoreboard already. It looks like the rules for this track are similar to the other Gran Turismo games. At this point, I wouldn't worry about the simulating racing rules (i.e. two wheels on the racing surface) but let competitors compete on whatever the game allows.

Also the license tests, which seems similar to the Driving Challenge on the PSP, usually have tighter in-game restrictions to prevent off-track riding, wall bumping, etc... It's the fastest lap / fastest race are the 'leaderboard tracks' that allows for the player to blow through chicanes, sharp turns, and sometimes parts of the course. If there's a desire to make a more restrictive track with tighter rules, those can be developed later as needed.

    Happy Racing!

    Good deal. Thanks again.

I've really been lagging behind and real life is keeping me grounded from really getting any quality game time but I can still make the occasional track.

I'm actually surprised there are a lot of games missing on the leaderboard as there are many good racing games on the PSP alone.
