It is my understanding that the pass-through does not offer any actual advantage in this pattern based game. We will not likely be making any modifications. This ruleset has been long-standing and well understood. The pass-through is not a new discovery and it can be inferred that since it was never itemized out as a problematic glitch by TG for the past 20+ years, it is a perfectly acceptable technique
