1.) Are videos still being cut off during playback?

There was a report of a video being 17 minutes long and stopping at 15:45.

I checked this and it seems to play through to the end without problems. Does it work for you?

2.) Are you able to upload large videos?

I feel like all of these issues would easily be found if properly tested. How do you implement a software that won't even load the video, allow you to rewatch, have all the video actually show in the file, etc? Huge mistake on their part. At this point they should use the old software and you know, maybe test out this new version to find all the bugs before implementing it. Kind of ridiculous when you think about it. It's like building a brand new, state of the art motor vehicle and forgetting to leave a spot for the engine. Looks pretty, but the old POS is still the thing getting you from point A to point B.

I'm holding on to a video, 1st one in weeks, until the playback feature has <<RW, FF>>, and speed playback 2x enabled The best attempt is about 30 minutes into the video and last about 40-50 seconds.

It took awhile to beat one to Tom Duncan's records but I'll let the pain and grind be my own. No need to force the adjudicators to watch through failed attempts like a movie blooper reel. Cheers everyone until we get a proper fix, my adjudication and submissions are on pause. ;-P

LOL, the IT industry long ago transitioned to feature-now, fix-later. I wouldn't be surprised if this is root caused by a change in the storage provider (probably Amazon) that has caused a chain reaction. With us ultimately experiencing a TG which was forced to "jump" to a new tune. Plenty of other explanations, of course...

Time to start allowing YT uploads, again.

Lets have some fun with this!! There are currently 17 pages in the queue right now. I predict that IF the upload issue is solved this week, the queue will get to 36 pages. If it takes longer, I'm predicting for every week the upload issue is around the queue will add another 18-20 pages a week of adjudicating backlog. Any takers/predictions? I'll be fair, I haven't recorded a submissions in a month and won't be contributing to the backlog.

Man, too many of those aren't viewable when users cancel vids and stuff, I really have to disagree!

Well then maybe a NEW rule has to be passed that if you post a vid from YouTube and then delete your video THEN your score gets whacked from the records. I dunno, we gotta do something here, don't we?

it'd be cool if we got a couple free subs thrown our way to compensate for the downtime ;)

It will eventually get fixed, and all will be back to normal, and in no time we will forget this even happened, I swear, there have been similar instances with bugs in the past, but they eventually get sorted out.

Again, tho, I'm all against youtube vids being allowed, I actually don't care for Vzaar either, it will shut down someday, I preferred when TG hosted their own uploads(I guess), tho I imagine that was expensive.

This particular issue should be fixed now. They are working on the others.
