Dear Community

We are pleased to announce the launch of redesigned leaderboard. We have really worked hard to change the flow and design .

We would really appreciate if the community gives us constructive feedback on the changes .We have tested the functionality but there might be a few errors or bugs . Please be assured that we are on standby to resolve any issues or errors.

We have removed the concept of premium/non premium tracks . We only consider the record count on a particular track to make it relevant .

We really hope that the community will like the changes and help us make TG better .

I found the overall ESI leader-board is back next to each console, if you click on "ESI".

However, not all ESI has been added on to the console from the former database. My ESI is only 3/4 accurate. Everyone's ESI on the leader-board is short. Mine is supposed to be 249.89. It shows only 185.

4)showing platform esi next to the filters
5)increase gsmes page performance considerably

A couple of suggestions for more sort filters from the platform selection screen. Currently the drop-down list has records and names as values.

- Competitors (Games sorted by the # of unique competitors)
- Tracks (Games sorted by the # of unique tracks)

The sort by Record count is the 'in-between' of these two suggestions. The value in Competitors count sort is that if someone wants to chase ESI, the need to find the games with the most competitors. The Record sort doesn't accomplish this because total submission count gets muddied for games with a few competitors over hundreds of derivative tracks.

The sort by Track count will allow those who want to identify the most opportunities to chase "world records". Since both the ESI and world records are leader board metric, these additional filters will compliment what is being tracked in aggregate as a measure of player skill.

Look and functionality on mobile viewing is terrible.

Maybe this new setup is cool for modern games, but doesn't do it for me at all for Classic Console platforms. But that seems to be the way TG is leaning anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter.

Thumbs down.

We haven't had a chance yet to address the mobile web viewing experience. We will as soon as the major bugs are addressed first with the new system in general.

Also, it is important to note that a Twin Galaxies mobile app is being developed for iOS and Android and it will make everything much easier on phones in general. Those apps should be coming this year.

I am very happy to finally be able to have multiple leaderboards open on the same page! Thanks for that one, that's a huge help.

Attempting to search by system/platform is broken for me.
When I checkmark "Atari 2600/VCS" it still shows mario kart 64, Gran Turismo, etc... another example is if I check Atari 2600/VCS and type in Centipede it'll show what seems to be every version of Centipede and not only the VCS version (Arcade/MAME/etc)

Can confirm the same thing is happening for me.

I checked MAME and it still shows Mario Kart 64 etc.
Also, when on the "front page" of world rankings and I type "dodonpachi" in the search box it shows dodonpachi for each platform but it keeps repeating them down the list?

When you search for a game, it comes up at least fives time for the same title.

Separate consoles being selected doesn't do a damn thing but at least you can see the console leaderboard now..

Hi Guys

I checked MAME and tried to search for Mario Kart. I could not find it .

Atari 2600/VCS . I checked the platform and typed "centi" , i got only one record

I strongly urge you to refresh cache before trying the new version. Also we know that there are multiple entries of the same game name in the database due to the legacy system

We have to work together to merge these games into one and clean up the database .

Do you think you can help us achieving this ?

Most of the Guitar Hero games are separate games by platform. Gran Turismo 6 and Zen Pinball both have "game entries" with tracks in the title.

When I select Android, the list does not change. If I then select Arcade (as well as Android), I get the Arcade games. However, if I select Arcade first the list does not change; then I add Android the list still doesn't change; then I add Apple II - I get the Arcade games list.

If I use the search feature to enter the second word of a title,

[Edit:] Found Android games! I selected Game Boy Advance (no change); then Amstrad CPC (Game Boy Advance shown); then Android (no obvious change); then de-selected Game Boy Advance and Android games are shown.... Apparently there are only 3 records throughout the Android platform and all are on one game. :(

It's great that they're not forced upon the scoreboard viewer but why aren't rules listed inline with the rest of the context when clicked on? I don't understand the pop-up nature.

On the individual game pages, the list of tracks needs sorting options, search optiond and (as someone else mentioned) filter options for where applicable to the platform (NTSC / PAL / EMU).

I think this was fixed briefly yesterday, but now it is broken again.

Hi Admin:

Please check this out .... My ESI (and all other players on Intellivision) were only awarded a fraction of our ESI points on the console. Not all ESI has been added for our totals on Intellivision.

Thanks.

The only thing I am seeing is any game with only 1 Entry/record comes up as below

Can this be updated to show 1 record, I think this is through the whole scoreboard

Looks good so far!

Looks good if others changes be made as priority selected:

Order by = Order by ASC
Sort by = Sort by Name

Games with multi-tracks must to have a search box to filter the track submission, It is too boring to find in Angry Birds Seasons the track around 96 pages.

You're doing it wrong!

Here's the main page. Notice Mario Kart 64 and Gran Tursismo 3 is on here.

The I got and click on MAME. I would imagine this would bring about the top MAME games according to the sort method selected (Order by DESC + Sort nu Record Co) but it doesn't. Instead it still shows Mario Kart 64 and Gran Turismo 3 on top. I scrolled down in the picture to let you see I chose MAME. Even here it shows games for other platforms.

And the search box doesn't work as intended. See here when I type in Dodonpachi. Yes, it finds all the dodonpachis on various platforms but it repeats them?

multiples of the same games/platforms

I've not read through everything so some of this may have been mentioned.

Things of assistance would be:

Listing ESI in a column in the leaderboard itself. This could replace the overall leaderboard currently showing on the left and would allow users to know how much ESI 18th place (as an example) might earn on whatever leaderboard.

If clicking on a platform only, it would be nice to see a game listing for that platform.

As Rodrigo noted, heavy track games like Angry Birds make locating an individual track within a game difficult without a search function.
