Thinking of you setting scores begs the question. Do you record the scores and archive them so that if its ever not a conflict of interest they can one day be submitted?

^THIS. I'm assuming you've already got footage of you crushing Petric's Zookeeper WR, so I'm just waiting for your heirs to posthumously submit your archives.
I'll be dead before you, though, so my heirs will have to adjudicate in my honor lol.

No one, Ben is ever going to do that. Even though I've explained to everyone how to do it!

Wow easy baiting this time sir. That was like the Lexmark signal.
Also if Paul Hornitzky wanted to he could beat your WR with a blindfold on. Yours and lots of others’ but he’s too nice of a guy to take any records when he knows it means more to someone else. So please appreciate your WR because it’s a gift even if it’s something you think you’ve defended unquestionably.

Sure, Ben. I'm a nice guy too. That's why Wes still holds the DK record, because I know it means more to him than it would to me!
Ben...someone will get a 5.51 Dragster score before someone beats my ZK WR!

Here's the truth. If Classic High Score gaming ever becomes as popular as speedrunning is right now, your scores, my scores, almost everyone's scores will be broken. Do me a favor John, go to speedrunning.com, and look at the records. See almost all of the major records are less than 2 years old. Why? Because speedrunning is so much more popular today than it was two years ago.
See John, you are like a person who I remember years ago. Day after day, he would collect yarn, and slowly but surely after decades of work he built the world's largest yarn ball. One day a town came along, and decided as a community that they would build the world's biggest yarn ball. In matter of a month they broke the record
Singularly you have built one mighty impressive score for Zoo Keeper, but rest assured, if you were to see a community effort like you see with Speedrunning Super Mario Bros. your record will fall. Almost all of our records will fall. That's almost a given.
Im sorry to hear that. about a year before I found TG i finally decided to take screenshots of the end of all my games. Its only proof for friends and myself of course, not really tournament worthy proof, but thats all i wanted at the time anyway. I also considered filming cause it would be neat in the future to see me aging across the years with my games. i was too lazy to ever get around to filming, so I"m happy TG submissions finally gave me the push i needed to film. One of my pets who has since died was sometimes accidentally caught on film while I was playing a game, and I now have video of him I never would've had otherwise. Filming your scores is its own benefit, with or without tg. I really do recommend it.
also, i'm sure people would be entertained to see the game player side of you. but like i say, even if you never plan to share it, the videos have their own personal value. I hope you consider it.
now that the nice stuff is out of the way, on to beating up lexmark, but i will throw in a caveat that i think he deserves.
coulda woulda shoulda might be could be hope to be. all meaningless. lexmark has the record end of story. its his. its currently worth what any record is worth.
but yes, the coulda wouldas are also true. Its a tough cab to come by, that right there reduces competition. it has popularity but not on the level of some other games which reduces competition. and forever is a long time, it stands to reason someone some day will beat it. maybe an alient visitor?
also as annoying as lexmark is, i dont see any group being upset enough to come together and take down his scores. he walks the troll line very carefully, theres a reason he's never been tribunalized. he's always just barely on the edge of acceptable. noone's gonna beat the record just to upset him, we'll have to wait for someone who truly likes the game enough to do it.
Ben, you know I'm reading this thread, right? Your above statement looks like a plea to some of your brown nosing friends for help! You didn't get any help!
What are my problems that you speak about?
