When you select a platform it only shows one page of results.

I play mainly in MAME so I wanted to sort all the current outstanding submissions for that platform and try to vote for all of them to try to help move the blockage a bit. But I can only see one page. There is no options at the bottom to go to another page. I've tried 3 different browsers with the same results.

Both my recent (last week) submissions must be on page two so will have no chance of being voted through if people cant even see it in the forum.
With the overall submission entries now at 118 pages long these bugs in the site need to be addressed or the whole process will continue to be backed up to the point people will not want to vote scores through.
Not to detract from this issue which I can confirm I've seen. A quick work around is in the full listing, click the heading Submission Review and that will sort everything alphabetically. Skip over to the pages of MAME stuff and then CTRL+click each submission you want to review to open it in a new tab (and thereby keep your place in the Submission queue).

Track discussion section is not displaying comments properly... well, at all. You can see that comments have been made, but the actual content is hiding.
This is rather annoying as it's where I've been posting MAME ROMset rename information.

e.g.

If I edit my own, can see that the content is still there, just doesn't display when viewing normally.

Could we please have the formatting tags removed/tidied from the rule set for https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/mo...ic/mame/points ?

Currently looks like this...

... and seems to be causing the rules not to appear in the inaugural submission thread.

So I meant to follow up on this and forgot.

I see the track specified in this request was fixed (though the $ was removed) - but it was just that single track.

My request was meant more as a site-wide change. That ALL tracks that use dollar amounts for scores only show two decimal places. Is that something that's possible, or does it turn out that the way it's done requires each individual track to be changed separately?

Hi TGAdmin

See my several post back I have asked on the previous scoreboard/track error forums
https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthr...l=1#post933392

and on this wall, I have asked for TG to ammend the rules for the derivatives track udner Multi-PXB-XXX.

Several other requests have been handled but not mine can you please attend to fix the rules set becasue I cannot ammend rules for derivatives track. I have thought initially I will be able to load them but I cannot.

TG need to load all the rules in one gho as I ahve listed them here.

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/xx...lti-pcb/arcade

The Pacman High Score Challange is the parent track and therefore all the rules of this game show
at the others below (derivative tracks) but should not apply.

Please change the main track "Pacman High Score Challange" rules

Track Rules

This rules apply to Pacman High Score Challange track only:
5 lives or less at start 10k life bonus or greater Difficulty Easy Speed Normal Other Details: Freeplay acceptable. Cold boot of pcb, not necessary. If game is started from the point of showing the multi-game menu screen, there is no need to show the physical pcb in evidence package. Dipswitch settings do not need to be shown when the details can be observed by observing gameplay details instead.

Other derivatve tracks have their own rules which aligned with default TGTS settings otherwise specified:

I cannot edit the general rules of a track I did found. The problem arise we cannot specify and edit specific rules for derivative tracks.

TG Admin need to check how the amendments of the rules will display.

Please post the rules as depicted below so that each derivative track has its own rules.

Currently when one click on "view rules" on the game list only the "General Rules" display for all and each derivative track
which was created under the main track "Pac-man High Score Challenge".

IF the TG site is designed so that all derivative will ALWAYS display the same "General Rules" that is captured under the main Pac-man track then put the PART A in General Rules of the main track and all derivative will automatically display the same "General Rules" text as captured in the main track.

If the TG is designed so that all derivative each derivative track can have its own "Game Specific Rules". That means TG can edit
"Game Specific Rules" for each track as shown below (PART B).

IF the TG site is designed so that all derivative will ALWAYS display the same "Game Specific Rules" that is captured under the main Pac-man track then put the PART B in Game Specific Rules of the main track and all derivative will automatically display the same "Game Specific Rules" text as captured in the main track.

Best case scenario:
- Post Part A in General Rules of maintrack and display automatically for all tracks (main track plus derivative tracks).
- Post Part B in Game Specific Rules for each tracks, separately.

Second Best case scenario:
- Post Part A in General Rules of maintrack and display automatically for all tracks (main track plus derivative tracks).
- Post Part B in Game Specific Rules of maintrack and display automatically for all tracks (main track plus derivative tracks).

PART A:

PCB need not be shown. Game settings as defined in the track description or rules must be able to be verified visually, either by info on the game play screen or by showing the game settings screen in system mode, setup mode, etc. If a game setting is not specified by the track description or rules, that setting is to be left at the factory/default game setting by using the system option on the multi PCB to restore factory/default game settings. If the multi PCB does not have a system option to restore factory/default game settings, the game setting(s) to be left at default should best reflect the factory/default game settings on the original dedicated arcade PCB whenever possible.

Instead of Pac-Man spesific rules only ALL the rules must be in the GAME SPESIFIC Rules section.

Thank you, like it. :D

Not an error, but a needed improvement. (Also, how about a separate thread for the purposes of making minor improvement suggestions for the site?)

The "Recent Comments" column on the main page does not show all the relevant info for comments on track discussion posts. All it includes is the track title, which makes it very unclear what the post is for. It would be nice to have some additional context for those posts.

This track (https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/be...ives-to-start/) should be renamed to "3 Player Team" - this was obviously a typo, as the rules (see below) mirror the "2 Player Team" track for the same game, and the condition of 3 starting lives makes no sense for this game.

Thanks.

Rules for my recently created Nintendo Monkey Magic track have messed up with the text attribute stuff...

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/pa...neo-geo-pocket

The page for Pac-Man Neo Geo Pocket is missing. Neo Geo Pocket is not a option on the pull down menu for systems either.

Atari Lynx records are still showing incorrect # of records based on Ron's scores and ESI appears to still be calculated based on Ron's records. Example:
https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/rampart/atari-lynx
But all games need to be fixed.

When will rejected scores be removed from the database?
Pointing them out individually is not working.
Cheers.

This person's profile says they were banned for cheating. If that is the case, shouldn't have all their scores been deleted at well?

hey dave, well i'd certainly like to see the scores stripped jace already answered this. i'm sure he'll remember and give you the same answer. I'm not sure if it was ever in print, but it was on state of the galaxies -- btw great show, now that you're the new jace would you consider doing something similiar?

Anyway i've seen two people banned for cheating and both times jace explained why there was no score strip. The underlying philosophy of score strip is of course, if you catch them cheating once it makes you wonder how many times they cheated and werent caught. In the case of aeiei jace felt his cheating was so obvious and so poorly done there wasnt much risk of other records of his have cheating snuck in.

The other case is donkeykonggenius. He explicitly asked his scores to be stripped from the site, when jace refused, he submitted a video and then quickly declared he cheated and asked that since he cheated his scores should be removed. Fact is, we dont even know if he cheated or if he just claimed to cheat. Also stripped his scores would be rewarding that behavior since its what he wanted. There wasnt much reason to think he would've cheated before (some opinion there to be argued) and his scores werent stripped.

I personally would have prefered see both of them lose all their scorse, but just wanted to point out there was some explanation as to why they kept their other scores.
