Being well aware that rules rarely get changed on a non-empty scoreboard, the rule set for this track is the EXACT OPPOSITE of default settings, which is extremely unlikely.

Here's the current rules:

Unknown 1-12: Off
Unknown 13-15: On

Also, some important DIPs were identified at 0.186. Assuming default 0.106 settings are correct and not what's currently in the rules, the translated rule set should be:

Unknown [5-7]: Off

Curious one! I was about to suggest the rules were created in a prior version and then the defaults were changed but this game was added in 99u2 & the only sanctioned MAME versions after that were a brief period of 0.104 and then a very long period of 0.106. 0.106 and all versions prior have the defaults as pictured, so I can only assume this was a rules typo for the original intention...

However, if those rules have stood for all this time (0.106 was adopted by TG very quickly after release which was May 2006) then surely all contestants would have used the rules and not the defaults? (Yeah, I know no-one really believes that but that's what should have happened.)

Submission threads are losing their content - just reviewed a TrackMania Turbo submission from Max with no rules or message from the submitter in the first post. Also noticed that Terence O'Neill has a 3DO submission with just a picture - someelse has responded to the thread suggesting there used to be more content.

The edit icons (links, pictures, videos) is not working for me when typing blog posts or responses to blog posts. I've used Firefox and Edge browser... neither worked. Last night I added a picture snip to a blog posted and received an error that I exceeded the 100000 character limit. My blog had 4 paragraphs and two snips, far below the character limit.

I can confirm that there was a ruleset and submission message on the Trackmania submission. Reviewing again right now, everything appears to be back in order.

Last night I noticed content loss as well. I ended up trying another browser, then updating various things, then resetting... it appears as if this was a TG issue.

A different issue: posted links (as shown above in this very post and elsewhere) are no longer clickable since a day or two or so ago.

Why I'm I getting this character limit error for a blog post when I only pasted a snip image.

Could we get the rules updated for all the Commodore 64 Pitstop tracks please. I'm sure I've discussed this before but I haven't found the old discussion. :(

Could the rules be updated to indicated that only versions of the game which have two simultaneous opponent cars are permitted.

been looking over all (and i mean all) the intellivision games and found some issues

you can see pacman in the list of games, but clicking on it does nothing, does not let you view the tracks and scores

"space cadet" in the list of games says one record, but when you go to the track none show. not sure which is the error

"bowling" shows up in the list of games, but clicking on it tries to bring me to odyssey2 bowling which has zero records, threfore i can neither view nor submit to this track

clicking on "chip shot golf" @gavv is the only one to have any records, since that means he beats noone else he should get 0 esi yet he has 1.11. I suspect he previously got points for beating a person who has since had all scores stripped. -- personal note, not hating on ryan, just reporting errors. nothing personal.

"bombsquad 3-3" is listead as its own game rather than as a track under "bombsquad" -- maybe im missing something thogh, I'll defer to @Intellivision Master if he says this is correct

Those images are not connected to your profile and will not update with your current profile image.

the now famous super mario bros play choice 10 track has the image for super mario bros deluxe

Pinball entry for "Vegas" has image of Mattel's "Las Vegas" pinball.

I accidentally added my score for "Mattel's Las Vegas" pin on the "Vegas" pin scoreboard because of the incorrect image.

"Vegas" needs the proper translite image, and "Las Vegas" needs a proper track. Ideally:

1] Game 1, 3-Ball, No "Double or Nothing"; and

2] Game 1, 3-Ball, "Double or Nothing".

Also, moving/removing my submission would be awesome. Thanks!

There are a number of malformed track titles in the database.

Here are 2 examples:

EMU - Points -

EMU - 100m Freestyle -

The trailng space & hyphen combination is unnecessary. When a new submission is posted, the system creates a thread title where " - " (a hyphen with one leading & one trailing space) is used to delimit the platform, game, track, score, and submitter.

The track titles above produced the following thread titles:

ZX Spectrum - Crazy Cars - EMU - Points - - 7,044,110 - Roger 111

ZX Spectrum - Summer Games - EMU - 100m Freestyle - - 16.2 - Roger 111

Notice the "double delimiter" in both cases, between the track and score fields.

The condition carried over to the shoutbox when each submission completed (see below):

12:50 PM * Rogerpoco 's submission ZX Spectrum - Crazy Cars - EMU - Points - - 7,044,110 - Roger 111 has been accepted*

01:00 PM * Rogerpoco 's submission ZX Spectrum - Summer Games - EMU - 100m Freestyle - - 16.2 - Roger 111 has been accepted*

I have written a number of functions to parse the shoutbox announcements and extract the various data fields. A number of items generated errors due to the consecutive delimiters (39 submissions in the past 2 weeks), so I modified the code to test for the nonstandard syntax.

Could you remove the extraneous " -" characters from all track titles? Is there a reason why they need to be present?

I can easily work around the error condition, but why should it exist in the first place?

No resolution ... no response. I know I'm not the only one having problems with the blog form.

Quick bit of history: these tracks (and many, many, many others) used to be suffixed with the word Grandfathered (could have been in square bracket) and looked something like

EMU - Points - Grandfathered

EMU - 100m Freestyle - [Grandfathered]

New-era TG took off the word but omitted to remove the preceding " - ". There are lots of these on the scoreboard in a similar state.
