Your diligence is appreciated.

As always, when dealing with a scoreboard that has pre-existing scores, notations are always made if the change requested is more than just a simple typo.

See below for example:

Hi Franny,

I would like to highlight that all changes should be documented - even "simple typos" because one of the most common typos is now/not. There are plenty of other examples of simple typos that cause opposite meaning, hence even a "simple typo" should be documented as having taken place.

Pointer error when clicking on the following.

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/twin-cobra-world/mame/

Click on the below and it will take you to pinball.

There are multiple instances of this error where you click on the title trying to get all the tracks for that title and it will take you to somewhere you don't want to go, often times to other platforms or game.

Twin Cobra [World]

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/twin-eagle-revenge-joes-brother/mame/

here's another one same deal

Twin Eagle - Revenge Joe's Brother

It looks like two votes for "You must select Normal difficulty". Can we get that rule added to these tracks now?

Option 1: You may select any difficulty level
Option 2: You must select Normal difficulty

The member leader board is trolling me. Both Donald and Robert's ESI show different on the leader board than they do when you open up their stats. I've never said anything cause I wanted to see what happens when I caught one of them. Well I finally caught up to the leader board score of Donald or did I. I looked the other day and I needed lets say 15 points or so, well two submissions went through and I had more points that what it said the day before. I look today and it just increased his leader board points to another higher level than mine. It will be interesting when I get another 400 points and pass him on his stats page. Will the leader board keep trolling me, stay tuned and find out later this year. I wondered what David Nelsons stats say compared to his leader board # but never followed it back then so I don't know if it trolled me also. Just stuff to make your day a little bit more smiley.

All of the tracks under this game are listed wrongly. Each ruleset calls for "Game 1", and none of the participants (at least the ones with actual evidence) played on Game 1. Rather, they all played on Game 0, which is the default game selection as shown in purple before the game reset switch is pressed to start a game. The two routes we could go are:

1. Dispute every score on both tracks; or
2. Change the description of both tracks to reflect reality

I don't think it would be to fair if all of the scores were disputed, since it is very likely that all made the same mistake, and combined with an even more likely scenario, zero thought was put into the description by whomever founded the tracks.

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/condor-attack/atari-2600-vcs

They should read:

NTSC - Game 0, Difficulty B (Points)

and

EMU - Game 0, Difficulty B (Points)

Can we please make these two changes, @SincerelyFranny @admin staff ?

Perhaps the participants @redelf and @Gsampson35 can chime in with their feedback?

Interesting that the game starts at game 0 or it seems it does. Can you do any testing to see what the game select switch does. I just read the manual and it doesn't say anything except choose your level. Can you test to see if it goes to 9 or 10 and then rolls back to 0 or 1. And I guess do some play testing at lowest and highest level and let us know if any difference. I don't have my atari at the moment.

Nice catch.

There are only 3 game variations. 0 is the default, and is indicated by the purple number on the left side of the bottom. Hit the game select, and it increments to 1, then 2, and then back to 0.

Another indicator is the sprites. Each variation has their own set of sprites. Game 0 has birds with thin wings, Game 1 looks like flies, and Game 2 looks like aliens.

I'm guessing that in the past this slipped by everyone just like it did until you started digging around :) Are you going to play to a million.

If it comes down to the game starts out harder but eventually maxes out to the same difficulty that game 0 does then it's a mute point as I'm sure the 3 of us could play it as long as we wanted to. If it comes down to game 1 is easier or scores more points per hour or something then I'm guess we need to set the rules to game 0 and non issue. It will probably come down either way to be a non issue as the current high scores were set recently and by people that can probably play the game as long as they want on probably most levels of difficulty that this game has to offer. I guess it could also be the number of ships that you start with or the times you get extra men, then we have some issues.

Also this game is very boring to play. I suggest if an option is to erase all the scores then do it and start a new track that is based on a limit of time, say 15 minutes. This is the only way that this game could be of any measurement of skill.

This might just be anecdotal, but Ive never even seen the game before, much less played it ... before about 2 hours ago, that is. I ended the game at 114.9K with 9 lives in reserve. I then played game one and got about 4,000 when I died. As far as I have seen, which is admittedly very VERY little, there is a big difference between the game variations. They all do, however, start you out with 6 lives in reserve.

Not that it has ever stopped me from making a suggestion, but I have a feeling many would throw a hissy fit if we exercised that option LOL!

Some people like marathons, other people like short timed runs. The scoreboard caters for all.

Oops missed a word in a song title for Guitar Hero Live. The correct title for https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/guitar-hero-live/playstation-3/ghtv-shes-so-perfect-5-seconds-of-summer-guitar-casual-points/ is "She Looks so Perfect" as can be verified in the footage of my submission. Thanks.

Hi, I made a little mess with the Ugh! (C64) tracks here https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/ug...3/commodore-64. This due to the fact that there are three skill levels in the game (and I added tracks for them all, but now it seems a bit confusing), while the rule is "Skill starting level A". Could you please change the content of the rule field in something clearer (something like, for example: "This game has three difficulty levels. The main track is about Skill level A, the easiest one. There are no other significant settings for the player to select.")? Thanks!

E-Swat - Cyber Police [set 3, World, FD1094 317-0130]

There is 2 submmision on this TRACK that are done in HARD difficult instead of NORMAL as requiered by the RULES. there are the first 2 ones submitted by:

Daniele Cavazza 2,549,100

Koos van Dyk 2,523,600

User PETE HAN, also on his submission, tell the same :

"What is verdict on using harder difficulty than specified in track rules?

I was looking at some INP's on marp for this game, and it appears the top 2 scores on the mame leaderboards have changed to difficulty to hard:

TG scoreboard:
https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.p...78&ref=fbshare

marp:
http://replay.marpirc.net/r/eswatu (2,549,100 score from TG has it's INP here)

http://replay.marpirc.net/r/eswat (2,523,600 score from TG has INP here)

I believe the top 2 scores on TG are played on harder than default difficulty. This gives you more opportunities to score since there are more enemies... "

the reply to him, was to create the HARD difficult track for this game, and tell TG admin to shift them over.
CAN SOMEONE DO/CORRECT THIS? can i do something to do it?

PLEASE REPLY ASAP! THANKS !!!!

A new update to Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia has muddied the waters of a small (thankfully) number of existing tracks. In the process I've found some accidental duplicates because of a single space...

Could the following tracks be deleted, please:

[Yes, 70 for Pt. 6. ;) ]

Example:

Quest - Events - Cycle Quest: Pursuit of Red Crystals - Pursuit of Red Crystals Pt.1

becomes:

Quest - Events - Cycle Quest: Pursuit of Red Crystals - Pursuit of Red Crystals Pt.1 [Quest LV 10]

The Quest LV is displayed at the level selection & the newer versions are higher quest levels (all part of the creeping power increase of the whole game).

It's tiny in the grand scheme of DFFOO. :D Thankfully, they don't re-use level names anywhere else! ;)

Thank you. :D
