Several other requests have been handled but not mine can you please attend to fix the rules set becasue I cannot ammend rules for derivatives track. I have thought initially I will be able to load them but I cannot. TG need to load all the rules in one gho as I ahve listed them here. https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/xx...lti-pcb/arcade The Pacman High Score Challange is the parent track and therefore all the rules of this game show at the others below (derivative tracks) but should not apply. Please change the main track "Pacman High Score Challange" rules

Track Rules

This rules apply to Pacman High Score Challange track only: 5 lives or less at start 10k life bonus or greater Difficulty Easy Speed Normal Other Details: Freeplay acceptable. Cold boot of pcb, not necessary. If game is started from the point of showing the multi-game menu screen, there is no need to show the physical pcb in evidence package. Dipswitch settings do not need to be shown when the details can be observed by observing gameplay details instead. Other derivatve tracks have their own rules which aligned with default TGTS settings otherwise specified:
I cannot edit the general rules of a track I did found. The problem arise we cannot specify and edit specific rules for derivative tracks. TG Admin need to check how the amendments of the rules will display. Please post the rules as depicted below so that each derivative track has its own rules. Currently when one click on "view rules" on the game list only the "General Rules" display for all and each derivative track which was created under the main track "Pac-man High Score Challenge". IF the TG site is designed so that all derivative will ALWAYS display the same "General Rules" that is captured under the main Pac-man track then put the PART A in General Rules of the main track and all derivative will automatically display the same "General Rules" text as captured in the main track. If the TG is designed so that all derivative each derivative track can have its own "Game Specific Rules". That means TG can edit "Game Specific Rules" for each track as shown below (PART B). IF the TG site is designed so that all derivative will ALWAYS display the same "Game Specific Rules" that is captured under the main Pac-man track then put the PART B in Game Specific Rules of the main track and all derivative will automatically display the same "Game Specific Rules" text as captured in the main track. Best case scenario: - Post Part A in General Rules of maintrack and display automatically for all tracks (main track plus derivative tracks). - Post Part B in Game Specific Rules for each tracks, separately. Second Best case scenario: - Post Part A in General Rules of maintrack and display automatically for all tracks (main track plus derivative tracks). - Post Part B in Game Specific Rules of maintrack and display automatically for all tracks (main track plus derivative tracks). PART A: PCB need not be shown. Game settings as defined in the track description or rules must be able to be verified visually, either by info on the game play screen or by showing the game settings screen in system mode, setup mode, etc. If a game setting is not specified by the track description or rules, that setting is to be left at the factory/default game setting by using the system option on the multi PCB to restore factory/default game settings. If the multi PCB does not have a system option to restore factory/default game settings, the game setting(s) to be left at default should best reflect the factory/default game settings on the original dedicated arcade PCB whenever possible. Instead of Pac-Man spesific rules only ALL the rules must be in the GAME SPESIFIC Rules section. Hello @francoisadt

Please note that this is not how derivatives are meant to work. If you are creating derivatives they will ALWAYS maintain the same rules as their part tracks.

In this case, this "game"/Arcade cabinet contains multiple games and would therefor need different rule sets for each track from each game. Submission points would need to be spent for their each of their creation. I will make these changes to clean up the database, but please refrain from this in the future.

Looking at your requested edit.... It is very confusing.

I cannot edit the "Pacman High Score Challange" track and it will waterfall the rules to all of it's derivatives. This needs to be done individually, and I need to know which ones they are exactly. Additionally, it would not make sense to include that GIANT block of rule text under each track.

Can you please post the links to each track that needs to be edit with the associated rule set.

Thank you.

The following track's rules has a bunch of hidden formatting which bleeds onto the submission page:

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/ms-pac-man/atari-7800/points/page/1?ref=fbshare

Example submission: https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/213569-Atari-7800-Ms-Pac-Man-Points-47-340-Garrett-Holland

Might occur on some more... one more for definite:

Hi Franny

You are correct, my request is not to dump that whole set of of rules in one track "Pacman High Score Challange".

What I mean here is exactly what you want t do put each game rule below itself.

the re-quote of he "message posted" on 2018, messes up the formatting. If you go back to the 2018 message

you will notice each game's rules is listed below it self.

https://www.twingalaxies.com/admin-staff/wall/3296/scoreboard-errors-report-them-here/page/18#comment19763

So that is what I need you to do, somehow just copy each game's rules in its own box below itself and not long list under "pacman high score challenge".

Requesting a minor cleanup to the rules text for the track https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/food-fight/atari-7800/points/

It's not the rules text themselves - it looks like there's a bunch of stray html that got added in, and only shows when a submission is made on the track:

I checked out the rules and nothing there seemed out of the ordinary.

It might have just been a bug. Either way, I removed the HTML text from the submission. :)
Thanks GibGirl thanked this post

There is no track for this description. There is only a marathon track that is currently in existance.

Space Invaders High Score Challenge! (5 lives to start)
https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/xxx-1-multi-pcb/arcade/space-invaders-high-score-challenge-5-lives-to-start/page/1?ref=fbshare

You did not include a rule set for this track

Elevator Action Hard - Difficulty 4 (Points)
https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/xxx-1-multi-pcb/arcade/elevator-action-hard-difficulty-4-points/page/1?ref=fbshare

This track included this "Special Rule". I'm not sure if it is okay to use on any track since it specifies that it was ONLY for the FunSpot Tournament.

"Special Rules: Please note, this variation is ONLY for the FunSpot 2002 Tournament. Please see the Other Tournament Settings for proper settings for all other attempt."

================================================== ==

Now that all of these changes have been made, can you please confirm that you understand how derivatives tracks work so that we do not encounter this issue again?

Thanks so much. :)

Thanks francoisadt thanked this post

Minor typo: in the "View All Submissions" dialogue the middle section has a typo: "ACCPECTED" should be "ACCEPTED".

Thanks very much for your hard work.

For all the tracks the "Additional Info" section must be amended so that specific stating the following submissions will be allowed:

The main purpose of XXX-Multi tracks are for arcade cabinets :

- arcade cabinets with the original PCB and ROM where the gamer play at a shaopping maill or an arcade where the gamer is not able to record the inside of the cabinet as proof that the cabinet do contain the original PCB and ROM

- arcade cabinets with non-original PCB and ROM (clones) that play like original arcade game PCB/ROM

- arcade cabinets with ICADE setup i.e. multi 1 in 60 & 1 in 120 ect.. cabinets

- MAME Arcade Cabinets with proof that no playback/pre-recording of an .INP file was used but the game is played in real-time.

- MAME Arcade Cabinets using Wolfmame

Add the above to this text:

PCB need not be shown.

On these items I will first check what the ARCADE rules are for these. The idea is that all the tracks in here must be the same game rules as the original arcade with the only exception that Multi-Cades/Clones may be used.

There are several remakes of Asteroids for the Game Boy and Game Boy Color. The version that is in the database and only has one track submitted to is for the Game Boy Color. I believe a note should be added making sure the Game Boy Color version is used for consistency. Also, the picture being used is for the Game Boy. This image is for the Game Boy Color version.

Concerns: 1. I need to know if XECUTER2 that underneath symbol Xbox ENIGMNA is ok to use with Xbox console system. Is it ok to vote on these adjudicate & on these submissions Xbox Battle-Engine-Aquila-PAL? so there be no problems in the future. Thank you for your consideration on this matter.

There are almost 60 submission on the Xbox game Battle-Engine-Aquila-PAL

2. I had adjudicated & voted on most of them but if they are not allowed ,then I have to un-vote everything I adjudicated & voted on, it would be all for nothing. I need a ruling on this. The submissions have been in the que since December, I was trying to clear it out.

A Twin Galaxy member 1CreditCrusader brought up his concerns that it maybe a

emulation and about mod. Here is his reply here below:

Is this running from a mod'd og xbox? or emulation? And im not sure on how the rules apply on this game if it has to be physical disc and hardware. You score is LEGIT im just uncertain as the VOTER to vote. Since there is no fine line between emulation/real hardware in the rules.

I just believe your running a mod og xbox bc of the bootup it says some weird slogan under the Xbox Symbol

VOTE=Skip until further understanding

Juan, please note that this thread is not the place for posts like this.

This thread is for scoreboard errors that need to be fixed by admin. It is NOT the place to post questions on how you should analyze a submission to vote on.

While your eagerness to vote and learn is greatly appreciated, these questions are better homed on your own wall/blog. Additionally, the decision is yours on whether or not you feel comfortable voting on a submission or not. We cannot tell you if it is "Ok" or not because that is subjective.

I will un-vote everything now. I will either PM Admin Staff , you Mrs Franny or put it on my wall thread

Aside from the reply from 1CreditCrusader and many Thanks by AllmightyDreadlock there has been no movement.

The fact is that Twin Galaxy members are not sure whether to vote or not so it will sit in que ,in limbo for year or 2, currently that it has been in the que since December 2019 3 months & none have been accepted the last one was by https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/156607-Xbox-Battle-Engine-Aquila-PAL-Episode-6-00-Back-to-Castellian-Fastest-Victory-03-27-0-Don-Atreides submitted on 05-17-2016, 01:23 AM

Wow - this is an amazing time. It's so good that it's ranked and un-ranked at the same time. Even a successful dispute won't keep this time off the leaderboard. It also repels the next best time from the submitter, even after approved through adjudication.

Yes - I'm being sarcastic as I've asked for help previously in this 'report error' thread and well.... here we without any progress or response. Please help!

Thanks SincerelyFranny thanked this post

This scoreboard's "rank 4" entry wrongly leads to this submission thread.
