M.A.M.E. - Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 [rev 1.2] - Fastest Completion - 558 - Carmelo Agosto

As Terencew pointed out their is set to Integer values should be for ELAPSED TIME this is were @admin staff @TWIN GALAXIES need to correct this, once it is corrected, then other Twin Galaxy members who submit to this track will not have that problem again.

The submitted time here is obviously unacceptable.
The problem with resubmitting is that the track is still set to accept only integer values, and not the usual hh:mm:ss form.

The other MK speedrun tracks here are already in a suitable format, not sure why this one slipped through.

CARMELO AGOSTO after Twin Galaxy staff fix this problem then re-submit, & ask them to give a free pass on your re-submission for this track

Congratulations on your World Record Time Carmelo Agosto on your re-submission and Welcome to Twin Galaxy

Track M.A.M.E. - Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 [rev 1.2] - Fastest Completion - 5:58 - Carmelo Agosto

Ok, I think there's a bad entry in the leaderboard here that needs to be cleaned out.

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/super-mario-64/nintendo-64/ntsc-fastest-full-completion-120-stars-required/page/1

A 12:12:12 time with no name, and a link to a completely different submission.

Could we get some feedback indicator on the upload form which gives the vzaar tag of the uploaded video, please. Case in point - I've just finished uploading a video when I had a brain fart and clicked Cancel - there's now a video fully uploaded which (if I didn't know HTML to dig out the vzaar video number) I would have to begin from scratch.

This is not a leader board issue but with no proper ticketing system, I'm not sure where else to post this to get your attention:

1. Ignore List is not respected on "NEWS" and "Home Page" article comments.

ie: https://www.twingalaxies.com/feed_details.php/5786/gamergirl-bath-water-seller-belle-delphine-instagram-account-removed/3

2. Ignore List is not respected on user profile "RECOMMENDED FOR YOU" side bar. This has always been an issue since you launched the profile changes months ago.

3. Tournaments - Seeing Tournaments created by users on my Ignore list here as well. I know it's a work in progress, but would be great if this was implemented.

Seems to work just about everywhere else on the site (Thank God) except these two places.

Thanks, ISB

There are some tracks for Nights Into Dreams for the Saturn that are without sufficient information to make them meaningful.

There's this NTSC Most Links track, this NTSC Time Remaining When Finishing track, and their PAL counterparts. The problem is that the rules for these tracks don't tell us anything useful. The "Most Links" tracks don't specify either the scope or the time frame to understand what is being tracked - I wonder if it's meant to be 'highest link combo', but if it was that, why wouldn't title title specifcy? And the Time Remaining tracks don't specify when you measure time remaining.

So unless @TRB_MetroidTeam is still around and can help clarify what is 19 year old submissions were specifically for, I'd recommend archiving or removing those tracks.

Given that this thread appears to be focused on Scoreboard Errors, where should general website issues be reported?

But, it is easy to fix, just rename "island" for "United" and deleted the variation above.

Or cancel/reject the submission, to submit link above and delete this track, also delete IslandB2 are incorrect track name:

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/tm-forever-trackmania-nations-forever-trackmania-united-forever/pc/play-solo-island-green-islandb2-time/page/1?ref=fbshare

This is just to avoid 2 tracks on IslandB1 and IslandB2, players can submit for both tracks.

Version Year is incorrect for the Q*Bert Colecovision tracks. The year should be 1983, not 1998. I'm assuming these were probably added in 1998, or it's just another legacy TG typo.

I don't know why it's there, but there's an entry for DJ Hero 2 under GameCube, but indicating it's the Wii?? Regardless, seems it should go away.

Also, 1080° Avalanche for the GameCube has a bad link in the system - clicking on it leads to the link https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/1080%EF%BF%BD-avalanche/nintendo-game-cube instead, which doesn't work.

@admin staff @Stephen Daultrey @Jace Hall

It appears that something was recently changed that now displays a direct score url on Discord (Haven't tried this on other social networks) when sharing a link (https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/207497-SNES-SFC-Super-Mario-Kart-PAL-Koopa-Beach-2-Fastest-Race-01-18-02-Roger-111)

Looks like it's pulling in the meta description and not the meta open graph elements (see below):

Can you implement proper Open graph tags on these pages. See the Open Graph specs site https://ogp.me/ for documentation.

Injecting that content into the Meta Description must really be screwing up whatever SEO TG has going on for these pages :P

Also, has TG created a thread for Web site issues or are we waiting for that Ticketing system? I hate posting these issues here, but don't see much of an alternative.

Thanks,

ISB

Commodore 64 - Barbarian: The Ultimate Warrior - https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/barbarian-the-ultimate-warrior/commodore-64

When viewing this, there are zero tracks shown but they exist (https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/barbarian-the-ultimate-warrior/commodore-64/emu-points/)

Any chance of getting this one cleaned up?

Thanks, ISB

I just received a notice that Ryan beat my score, however I was already in 2nd place after Matthew beat me.

It does not make sense to me to receive a notification unless you are getting knocked out of 1st place.

This is just my opinion and perhaps other members feel differently. Interested in hearing other opinions and also if the notification system is working as designed or not.

my opinoin is we need an option to turn it off. i could see some people wanting this. i agree with you though and dont like it. i try to encourage people to not just submit first place, submit last place too, its only fair to submit your low scores as well so that people who are the best get full credit for that many people under them. i feel though submitting low scores means many notiifcations like this, which in turn discourages me from submitting too many low ones. i dont know if others are like me, but for me, these notifications are a huge discouragement to submit and make me only want to submit unbeatable scores.

Commodore 64 - Mr .Tnt Track:

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/mr-tnt/commodore-64/points/page/1?ref=fbshare

Please rename track title to stick with naming convention. The track title should read:

"NTSC - Level 1 (Points)"

There is one score for this one and it was played on a NTSC Commodore 64.

Thanks! I will add a EMU and PAL track for this title as soon as I hear back from you on this change.
