It's very simple. I'm beating all the tracks set up on there and somehow he is getting esi for it. Basically when the tracks were made, the lowest score was the best score when it should have been opposite. You fixed that issue yet the site was still giving Pat extra esi when he should be getting none from that game. I dunno how else I can explain it. It seems so simple but I'm sure there is some programming issue that needs to be fixed.

Apologizes.

Unfortunately there is no search function on these wall post where I can easily look up the last time you had mentioned it. Chances are that I have sent your request in the past to @admin staff . However, due to the lack of accessible of these threads (on our end) and my memory, I could not remember the details of the issue. Thank you for bearing with me. I know it's a struggle sometime

The member leaderboard for "Most World Records" is messed up.

There are small issues with individual games that people have that certainly need to be addressed, but the overall leaderboards being messed up seems like a very obvious top priority...

It is now set to Time elapsed / lower is best

It should be Time remaining / higher is best

And can you please delete the generic cover image so I can upload the correct one?

Thanks :)

originally reported 5/1/2019 on this thread, still a problem.

Apple II - Crush, Crumble & Chomp. Clicking on the score or vote links for Shane's score will take you RogerPoco's Atari VCS Barnstorming submission.

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/bucky-ohare-ver-ea/mame/

There are four tracks under this game entry which are affected...

The required ROMset is "bucky" and the rules should never have been changed - it appears that these two changes noted in MAMEINFO.DAT were misinterpreted:

1] This entry refers to a description change to "bucky", not a set rename:
- 0.145u4: Fixed Bucky O'Hare ROMs labels, added PCB locations and a better documentation about sub-revisions. Renamed some romsets to use revision codes [Team CPS-1]. Repair rom labels [Guru]. Changed description to 'Bucky O'Hare (ver EAB)' and clones '(ver UA)' to '(ver UAB)' and '(ver AA)' to '(ver AAB)'. Renamed (buckyua) to (buckyuab) and (buckyaa) to (buckyaab).

2] This entry refers to a different set (the clone "buckyea") being added to MAME support, and does not affect the "bucky" set required for these tracks:
- 0.152: caius added clone Bucky O'Hare (ver EA). Changed K054539 sound clock speed to 18432000 Hz.

The confusion appears to arise from the clone being given the same description as the old one for "bucky".

That pretty much covers it, but the explanation can also be found in an affected submission from post #6 onwards...

Hello SincerelyFranny

It is possible you create a 1 missing track for SNES Nigel Mansell's World Championship Racing?

All tracks are available and just one are missing = NTSC - Mexico - Fastest Race

Rules: Race Circuit, May Freely Adjust Aerofoil, Tires, Gear Ratio & Transmission, Race Mode [No Passwords Allowed!]
Special Rules: For this variation, you don't need to win or complete the race for your lap time to count.

Thanks

The two tracks affected by the following issue are:
https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=91244
https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=91245

Please add "Difficulty: Easy" to the rules for these tracks.

Short explanation is that 'Difficulty' was not available as a DIP when the rules were written, but a couple of the 'Unknown' DIPs were still actually responsible for difficulty. And the rules unknowingly actually do define the required difficulty setting (Easy), which would be discovered in later versions of MAME.

A further complication is that the default setting would change in even later versions of MAME, so without explicit instructions, the best players can do is use the default setting which will result in an uneven scoreboard.

A more detailed discussion can be found here:
https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/210564

Thanks.

[EDIT: has since been fixed, thanks!]

The following scores need to be re-calculated. Both have scores that are now removed that are effecting placement and ESI.

Issue: Link to Track Leader board directs to wrong page.

See: https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/210956-M-A-M-E-Super-Pac-Man-(Namco)-Points-Tournament-Settings-148-440-Matt-Sales and click on the "Score Track" link: https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=7867

The resulting page should be: https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/super-pac-man-namco/mame

Thanks!
