TG database: “Super Mario Bros. 2” in “--Speedruns" platform.
Incorrect picture!
Due to the different game names in different countries, I don't know what is the exact version here. Well, I know it's not "New Super Mario Bros. 2" (3DS).

This appears to be an arcade track incorrectly listed under the Apple II platform.

TG database: "Adventures of Lolo (GB)" in "--Speedruns" platform.

According to the name, it's the Game Boy version, not the NES version.

There are two tracks in the "--Speedruns" platform:

"Adventures of Lolo"
"Adventures of Lolo (GB)"

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/ad...olo/speed-runs
https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/ad...-gb/speed-runs

I suggest to rename them to:
"Adventures of Lolo (NES)"
"Adventures of Lolo (Game Boy)"

Better rules are necessary too.

Does anybody else think the speedrun platform should be deleted? It's redundant to the "fastest completion" tracks that already exist under the normal platforms and there is already a website for tracking that stuff that does it much much better than TG.

I agree, 100%. It's unnecessary.

A lot of tracks without rules, or bad ones.

Also, a lot of tracks specify only the game, and not the platform of the game. Many games are not the same in other platforms, despite the same name.

--Speedruns platform has 32 scores, from 9 players.

@TRB_MetroidTeam @sdwyer138 All of the speedrun track on the speedrun "platform" were imported directly from speedrun.com with all of their original rule sets from the site - Unaltered. This platform contains all sorts of games from any and all platforms. They were originally sorted into the correct platforms, but were soon after collected into their own "platform".

We have generally not been editing the rules from those tracks because they were direct imports. It may be on the table to remove the whole "platform". It would depend on how many (if any) submission/records live on that platform. We will look into it and talk about it internally.

I agree, 90% of my gameplay is speedruns and racing games, and I never find myself looking for a game to submit under the --speedrun "platform". I much rather look for the "fastest completion" tracks under the correct console or create them if they don't exist. Here at TG, I always prefer to play and submit for games with an in-game timer to avoid any opposition. And if I have to time it myself I rather submit it to speedrun.com

The --speedrun platform here is redundant, unnecesary and not succesful at all, removing it would be the way to go.

This track should be renamed to "Skill 1" (which is the default). There are not 11 skills in this game.

Just noticed something odd about the MPH-based scores on Test Drive Unlimited for the Xbox 360. The speeds have been multiplied by 100.

Original track - float: https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/147537-Xbox-360-Test-Drive-Unlimited-Single-Player-The-passion-for-Speed-MPH

Tracks: https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/test-drive-unlimited/xbox-360/?track=mph

Also, this is one of the many created tracks which I'm unable to create derivatives from. Any update on this circumstance?

Missing Gran Turismo 3A Spec Tracks!!!!

Hello -

The the tracks for the Normal Difficulty - Class A variations of the Special Stage Route 5 courses are missing from the database. There are none for the NTSC or PAL regions. There should be four tracks for each region, covering the four courses (Special Stage Route 5, Special Stage Route 5 II, Special Stage Route 5 Wet, and Special Stage Route 5 II Wet). The rules for the track are the same as those listed for any of the other difficulty settings. Twin Galaxies is listed as the founder and therefore, is the only entity that can add tracks without incurring the additional cost of funding.

Here is a link to the search filter I used, which returned no results.

Andrew reported the missing column headings 6 weeks ago. The problem has not been resolved, nor have I seen a response from TG that acknowledges the issue.

A few other observations regarding the "new look" of the various forums and wall discussions:

(1) The topic start date & time are not listed on the forum index page.

(2) The last post date & time are reported incorrectly on the forum index page.

(3) Clicking the "Reply" link above any wall entry fails to quote the text of the selected post.
