Folks, this is still the best place to report issues until we launch a ticketing system. Everything posted here is being logged and prioritised. There are some big projects close to completion and there will be a hammering of existing issues once we have those launched.

The track titles are all correctly renamed. That was a false alarm on my behalf, I thought I'd uncovered a new glitch, but all is good!

As for the incorrect score ranking (eg that lower times should be ranked first), I'm afraid this is not something I'm about to change myself by virtue of there being existing scores. This is now in Dave's "fix list" and will be corrected in due course :)

Do you plan to deactivate Rodrigo's tracks, thus requiring that all future scores are submitted to the renamed variations?

Or . . .

Do you plan to delete Rodrigo's tracks? If so, will you also restore the submission points used to fund those tracks? How might such an action exacerbate the current issue of unexplained SP variances?

Just trying to think proactively.

Thanks. This is now in Dave's good hands. Fortunately, there are no scores attached to any of Rodrigo's duplicate tracks. However, the issue of Submission Points should we delete/deactive the tracks is another matter, as you rightly point out. This has been added to the list and will be looked at in due course :)

One other thing:

I have not subscribed to this thread, so I do not expect to be notified when someone posts a new reply. However, my original post was QUOTED in your reply, so in this case I SHOULD have received a notification. Unfortunately, I did not.

I had an upload failure from the submission form. The upload bar turned red but no error message was given. The only other symptom I've noticed is that 3SP was deducted from my current SP total but no thread was created.

I subsequently refreshed the form, tried the upload again and experienced the same upload issue but no further SP reduction that time.

The third attempt, I navigated through the scoreboard and opened the submission page afresh and this time it succeeded.

So, TG should have two partial uploads that are orphaned, one associated upload and I experienced a deduction of 6SP in the process.

You've got a 7.15 score in the table but the rounding on the table is to one decimal when it should be two decimals.

NTSC Commodore 64 Pac-Man Track... notice that there is no #1 score, just a #2 and a #3 score both at around 4%.. Looks like the #1 score somewhere around 570k has disappeared into the ether...

There's a good chance the #1 score was Ron Corcoran's, whose scores were removed. But still, it should be adjusted.

So not sure what to say about this but I will anyway. Is there a reason Twin Galaxies when creating the racing tracks for Wave Race - Game Boy they left out so many of them? Two of the circuits aren't even included and some of the tracks are missing the CC classes. Are we supposed to actually go in and create those tracks using SP since someone back in the day got lazy and dropped the ball? If TG will do it, I'll tell let you know how many tracks and what CC classes are missing. The rules are very specific...."Practice Mode", haha. That's it. Let me know I guess. I hate creating tracks that TG should have created themselves. It's not like these special tracks that people want created. Maybe I'm just nit picking and hate laziness.

Not blaming the current staff either, these tracks have been around a long time.

I brought up a similar situation with missing leaderboard tracks for Gran Turismo 3A Spec. Twin Galaxies administration team has reached out to me for clarity on what I was asking. It appears they are willing to help fill in these gaps but may need help on details that us, as gamers, can assist them in getting it right.

Haha, awesome. That would be fantastic if they did. Hopefully they get back to me on this. These would be really simple since the current rules for all tracks are "practice". Haha. There are simply "race tracks" that never had tracks written for them. Thanks.

Just in case they miss this post, I'll tag them. I had to ask a couple of times to get their attention. Hopefully this gets it in the "to do list" queue. It might take awhile depending on whatever else they have going on, but hopefully they will acknowledge that this is now on the list.

Submission upload error.

I am currently in the middle of uploading a submission. The submission is a typical submission like most if not all submissions I've made in the past. The uploaded video file is of typical size (well within size limits). The file name of the video file does not contain any special characters. The uploader uploaded, with the usual wait time for the video file. Upon receiving a 100% notification, instead of having this submission pop into the forums as it usually would, I received this message:

The submission is currently frozen at this state and will not continue to process through. There is no description or way to locate what the "error from TwinGalaxies" is or how to correct it. I have no idea if SP was drafted from my tally or not. I left this window open for 15 minutes after receiving a 100% upload to await further prompt by the uploader process. As no further notice was given, and no change to the process appeared to be resolving, I manually closed the window.

The only way to resolve this from a user stand point is to close the window and submit again. I will do so, This post's purpose is to report the error as well as note that TG's "error from TwinGalaxies" doesn't offer a lot of information as to what the error was or how to resolve it.

Kikstart 2 rules on ZX Spectrum need a minor clarity. All of the rules indicate Course A when they should individually reference the course in the title of the track.

Kikstart 2: https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/kikstart-2/sinclair-zx-spectrum

Minor concern about admin edits arises here: the rules are clearly marked as having been adjusted but there is no "before" version to confirm if the course indication is an original error or a copy+paste new error.

@Barthax Can you see the Additional Info box at the bottom of these rules, showing that a minor typo has been fixed?
