What your saying Mrs. Franny is the 4 car/4 live score of 15,925 is wrong, MAME has the rules set to 4 lives, did not see the capture picture in my reply from Twin Galaxies scoreboard database.

1. Would you not change the arcade Twin Galaxies rules match the MAME rules?

2. How in the world do you think a player will beat the current arcade score of 305,000 by Chris Ayra?Yes by pattern, strategy, tactics, slowing down etc., I have gotten close to WR, that was many years ago.

Further to SincerelyFranny's point, JJT, the TG rules for Arcade Head On date back to the year 2000 state the following:

Head-On (Sega) Diff: None. Start: 3 Cars. Bonuses: None.

John McAllister score is for 4 cars that he submitted arcade TG arcade rules has 3 cars & no bonus, as you stated in the TG rules so John's score would be wrong. unlike the TG MAME rules for the game shows 4 cars.

Would you not think that TG made a clerical error here, then both arcade should have the same rules, do you think that would be the right thing to do? Have a good day.

Guesses are not grounds fir rule charge

Though I’m glad you’ve finally done some research and no longer falsely claim there are no settings, moving the goal post to demand consistency with mame and arcade is a poor substitute for an apology

Hi Franny

Missing line breaks in the rules for this newly created track:

it's the "Original Arcade Settings" track in the MAME platform for the Sky Diver game.

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/sky-diver/mame

Rules should look like this:

TRACK RULES

ROMSet: SkyDiver

Lives: 5

Difficulty: Easy

Extended Play: Yes [4,400 points]

Language: English

Service Mode: Off

Special Rules: None

ADDITIONAL INFO

This track matches the Twin Galaxies Arcade Tournament Settings.

Thanks in advance!

If someone doesn't mind to look into this, I'd like to propose a change in the rulesets for the tracks on this game:

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/top-gear/super-nintendo-entertainment-system

The rules are:

1 Player, Amateur Skill Level, Speed in KPH OR MPH, Please Enter Initials or Name, May Freely Choose Automatic or Manual, May Freely Choose Controller Configuration, May Freely Choose Car [No Passwords Allowed!]

Special Rules: You MUST complete the race for your time/record to count.

I believe the [No Passwords Allowed] is somehow referencing a password for a better car(which I don't think exists).

There is no battery save in the game, later tracks are opened up by obtaining codes to unlock later levels, which you must re-input every time you play.

Basically, if the "password" issue applies to the entire game, it would take several hours to even reach the later tracks to begin attempts, and that just doesn't sound right when there is an earned option to not have to do so.

Thanks for any consideration!

As an ex-ref, I can vouch that the "No Passwords Allowed" addition to many rulesets was added as a "just in case there's a password to enhance gameplay". In this game's case, there doesn't appear to be any passwords to enhance gameplay. But even if there were, it still wouldn't be right to exclude the passwords to access tracks, being that it would take a very long to to access them by playing the game outright--Basically, there would be no competition on those tracks otherwise. I suggest removing the "No Passwords Allowed" and replacing it with "The only passwords allowed are ones to access tracks". That way it will allow competition on the tracks that would take hours to access, while eliminating the use of a gameplay enhancing password...just in case one exists.

After looking into the game and how passwords are used within it, I think this is a fair alteration.
I will have this change. I will let you know when it is complete. :)

Minor display issue: unicode characters not being displayed correctly inside the Submission message: https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/216013-Android-Dissidia-Final-Fantasy-Opera-Omnia-Quest-Abyss-%CE%B2-Abyss-%CE%B2-Stratum-10-Abyss-%CE%B2-10-15-COSMOS-784-000-Andrew-Mee . You can see the title of the thread is fine but the track inside the first message is not.

ESI being awarded for both entries? The #1 rank is still in process. This is the only track for this game so all ESI would come from this scoreboard.

I'm so sorry for the delay on the last two reposts. Those are items that only @admin staff can fix. I will ping him again.

Both entries are not showing up on the leaderboard anymore.

The IN PROCESS rank 1 score was submitted today, so the leaderboard was probably still trying to catch up when you originally looked at it.

No they're both still there, you hafta click the show more scores button. That's not the problem, one has been adjudicated and other is in process, that's normal. What is not normal is James having an ESI for this game that his higher than the number one guy, even when his score is approved. I'm assuming there is a bug in the ESI calculator that is giving James ESI for both scores.

Oh my goodness. Please excuse my brain hiccup.

Yeah, that is weird. This is something @admin staff will have to look at.
