Can you please delete the name of the console "(Wii)" from the tittle of these 2 games and merge the downloadable tracks with the original game? Thanks.

I just created a new track for Bubble Trouble - Golly Ghost 2 and for some reason there's no way to get to the proper scoreboard/leaderboard page for the game. To replicate, go to https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=231640 and click on the "Score Track" link https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=231640 ... It redirects to the Macintosh version of the game. It's probably a web site routing issue. Once we get this remedied, we can then fix the track rules as the formatting is a mess.

Thanks,

Matt

Another new track where the rules lost formatting during creation:

Diet Family https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/diet-family/mame

Rules should look like this:

-----

ROMSet: dtfamily

Internal Defaults
-----------------
Difficulty: 3 (normal)

Special Rules: The above are the default internal settings for this title and need not be changed.

-----

Please copy and paste from the above as I've added the "ROMSet" text.

Thanks @SincerelyFranny !

There are some problems with the Atari 8-bit version of Flip & Flop (aka Flip and Flop) in the database, maybe due to a pinball with a similar name, as you can see from the screenshot. Please correct. Thanks.

Couple of typos and a minor moral quandry. The Final Fantasy XIII tracks have been written to match what I'd played and I've made a booboo. Two of the recently accepted submissions reflect a fight which doesn't exist in the game - so the tracks aren't anywhere in the game.

Battle Result - Chapter 1 - Pantheron, PSICOM Enforcer x2, PSICOM Warden [Battle Duration] - https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=230045

Battle Result - Chapter 1 - Pantheron, PSICOM Enforcer x2, PSICOM Warden [Score] - https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=230046

These should both be the fight "Pantheron, PSICOM Enforcer, PSICOM Warden x2" of Chapter 1. So, that's the typo...

Then there's the two submissions:

https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/216468

https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/216470

... both of which have been accepted as a fight which doesn't exist. :P

So, assuming the adjudication should be disputed, that would leave two impossible tracks that forever have correctly disputed scores against them. The obvious short-cut is to rename the tracks & thus the adjudications are "correct" but that means accepting incorrectly adjudicated scores.

Just outlining the quandry - not sure which direction I should request.

Props to the eagle eyes of @JJT_Defender . :D

Before I decide on how to handle this... Can you please answer these questions?

Can you explain the error one more time?
What do you mean the fight doesn't exist?
What should it have been?
How off is the original track from being correct?

Sure thing, will try. :)

Background:

In Final Fantasy XIII, the game gives a score and time for each fight. The storyline is entirely linear so if you pick up the game at any point, you will experience the same fights as anybody else. Many of the fights represent the same set of opponents and the make up of the opponents (and Chapter of the story) affect the scoring system and how good the characters are (and thus how quickly the fight might be over). So, each track represents a given opponent set in the given chapter (regardless of where in that chapter they may be met).

The error in the track title:

OK, so this pair of TG variations represent a single opponent set in Chapter 1 which is made up of 4 opponents: one "Pantheron", one "PSICOM Enforcer" and two "PSICOM Warden". The track titles, however, state there were one "Pantheron", two "PSICOM Enforcer" and one "PSICOM Warden".

Why the fight doesn't exist:

No-where in Chapter 1 of the game is there an opponent set made up of one "Pantheron", two "PSICOM Enforcer" and one "PSICOM Warden". So these two tracks should not exist.

What they should be:

Battle Result - Chapter 1 - Pantheron, PSICOM Enforcer, PSICOM Warden x2 [Battle Duration]

https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=230045

Battle Result - Chapter 1 - Pantheron, PSICOM Enforcer, PSICOM Warden x2 [Score]

https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=230046

How off is the original track from being correct?

Just the numbers in the opponent set.

So If I am understanding this correctly, it's only a misplacement of the 'x2' in the description. Is there no other fight with those opponents in the game? If there is no other fight like it with the similar opponents, I do not have an issue fixing the description.

Exactly correct. There is no other fight which matches the typo in the title.

This is a duplicate entry (the other entry has scores submitted to it). It should be deleted to avoid possible problems in the future: https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/zaxxons-motherbase-2000/sega-32x/page/1?ref=fbshare

This game should be deleted as it doesn't exist for the 32X: https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/mighty-morphin-power-rangers/sega-32x/page/1?ref=fbshare

Thanks

Any news about this?

Now that the bad scores have all been removed, I'd like to request some edits to this track based on the remaining record and how it was played.

This is the track: https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/super-burn-out/atari-jaguar/fastest-completion/

I'd like to request it be renamed to "Fastest Championship Completion".

For rules, update them to the following:

"Game Mode: Championship

Drones: Average

Number of Laps: 4

Any bike may be used.

Time starts when the first track shows, time ends when crossing the finish line on the final race"

These rules both match the existing approved submission, and drones/# of laps match the default settings.

I do invite @starsoldier1 to comment if desired, as the sole submitter on this track.

Also, I don't remember if I'd asked for these before, and if there was a reason it wasn't done yet, but the following titles all need to be moved from the "Atari Jaguar" platform to the "Atari Jaguar CD" platform:

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/world-tour-racing/atari-jaguar

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/battlemorph/atari-jaguar

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/blue-lightning/atari-jaguar

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/vid-grid/atari-jaguar

and this title needs to be removed completely, as it's now scoreless and an incorrectly named duplicate of the correct title:

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/primal-rage-arcade/atari-jaguar

And while we're here, please delete this track, as it's meaningless - there's no relevant score for this in the game, and the rules give no means of calculating one.

Once upon a time the TG scoreboard had a specific flag for games that were completed with no score measurement. Before the days of speed running.

I would like to hear from @starsoldier1 before making this change.

It looks okay to me, but I would like the opinion of the player on the leaderboard.

These tracks are being difficult for me. :(

For some reason, I think there is a bug with transferring it from Atari Jaguar" platform to the "Atari Jaguar CD" platform. I will need help from @admin staff .

Also, the tracks requested for deletion in this post and the one after have been deleted.
