The rules state "This game has no settings for the player to select," but this is not correct. The game has 10 skill levels, from 0 to 10 and you can select which one to start at by pressing the # key. The game default is level 1. Here's the manual:

Change made. This one is very much overdue, as the MAME developers corrected the error, long ago. There's been a submission stuck in the queue, for ages, because of the uncertainty about this setting.
