Don't think it would be fair to change the rules to an easier difficulty for the people that followed the rules. I suggest creating 2 new tracks with the default difficulty then moving the appropriate submissions into the new ones. Modify the difficulty 4 rules to explain that the difficulty needs to be changed from the default of 3 to the correct difficulty of 4.

I am playing this game now, there are not two different versions of the game, there is no "new version" or "classic version", there is only one version.

Furthermore, the two tracks presently on the game require the same difficulty settings, 'Normal (Default)'.
For this reason I believe these two tracks should be combined.

I would like to submit to this game but as it presently stands that will prove difficult and confusing.

Request for a rule update to Lethal Thunders on MAME. In MAME 0.107, some DIP switches labelled "Unused" were correctly identify as being the "Bonus Life" setting. The rules were written for 0.106 with the Unused DIP switches in the Off position. The defaults for all versions match these rules, thankfully and the "Bonus Life" defaults to '700K & 1.5M' at the same position as the 0.106's Off setting. So this is an aesthetic clarification only.

Could the following paragraph note be added, please:

NOTE: in version 0.107 two previously 'Unknown' DIPs were identified as the 'Bonus Life' DIP switch. The 0.106 rules require the Unknown DIPs to be 'Off' and were the default position for these Unused DIP switches. From 0.107 the correctly translated 'Bonus Life' setting is '700K & 1.5M'. This is also the default.

Could the game name for Rough Ranger [v2.0] be updated with the new knowledge in MAME, please. The ROM set rranger in 0.106 was later suspected to be the bootleg version in 0.135u4 and then confirmed as such in 0.153:

MAME History:
- 0.135u4: Worked around protection in sranger, srangerw and srangerb [Angelo Salese]. Changed clone Super Ranger (v2.0) to parent and 'Rough Ranger (v2.0)' to clone 'Rough Ranger (v2.0, unprotected, bootleg?)'.
- 0.153: bodger319, AeroCityMayor, Brian Troha and The Dumping Union added clone Rough Ranger (v2.0). This new dump is an original non patched dump of rom 1. The older unprotected set has now been labeled as a bootleg. Changed description of clone (v2.0, unprotected, bootleg?) to 'Rough Ranger (v2.0, bootleg)'. Renamed (rranger) to (rrangerb).

Reposting a request made by Intellivision Master back in 2018 that seems to have never got fixed:

"I added a track on TG:

Nintendo Wii - Lego Star Wars - Multiple Players - Up to 3 players / 2 max at a time - Fastest Completion of the full Saga.

My new track was 'approved' then it disappeared.

The only track for this game is a generic tack that doesn't mention the console, under the 'speedruns', there's no rules, and no way to enter the score.

Could the rules for the Blaze On [Japan] game on MAME be updated to reflect the changes in MAME, please. The tracks are for the Japanese version of the game and in MAME 0.206 the ROM set was renamed to blazeonj:

- 0.206: rtw and The Dumping Union added Blaze On (World). Renamed (blazeon) to (blazeonj).

Could an update be made to the rules for Born To Fight on MAME to reflect changes to the interface after two of the "Unknown" DIP switches were identified. These are aesthetic changes only.

Free Bullets: Off (Note: prior to 0.141u3 this was the second Unknown DIP switch which must have the value "180")
Unknown switches: Off

I have changed the title of the track that you are founder of, as it does not yet contain any scores.

I can not change the title of the Twin Galaxies founded track you requested. That title change is effectively a rule change and there is at least one score on the track that has not been objectively and definitively proven to have been played according the the rule change you are requesting. Unless I missed something.

If you believe that a score is invalid then you must open a dispute on that score and provide objective and definitive evidence that supports your claim. You can learn more about the dispute system here:

The MAME rules for the game "Bucky [EA]" were incorrectly edited in 2018. This was discovered in 2019 and a full description can be found in TerenceW's post at https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/209746-M-A-M-E-Bucky-O-Hare-Ver-EA-Points-1-Player-Only-126-750-Salim-Farhat?p=1055661&viewfull=1#post1055661 .

TLDR; "Bucky [EA]" was correctly identified and renamed "Bucky [EAB]" in version 0.145u4. Later in 0.152, the real "Bucky [EA]" was added to MAME.

In order to correctly reflect the original MAME 0.106 intended rules could the following changes be made, please:

- Change the game name of "Bucky [EA]" to be "Bucky [EAB]".

- For each track which currently cites ROM set "buckyea", change the ROM set to be "bucky".

- Add a note to the rules:

Note: prior to 0.145u4 this ROM set was incorrectly named "Bucky [EA]".

Another mistake of mine has been uncovered. I used the wrong template to derive the track at https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/final-fantasy-xiii/xbox-360/battle-result-chapter-7-corps-pacifex-corps-tranquifex-score/page/1 .- Time based, Low to High and references "Battle Duration result" in the rules.

The track should have been derived from the track "Battle Result - Chapter 11 - Ambling Bellows, Cryptos x2 [Score]" - Integer based, High to Low and references "Score result" in the rules: https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/final-fantasy-xiii/xbox-360/battle-result-chapter-11-ambling-bellows-cryptos-x2-score/page/1 .

Are you able to make this change or is it easier to delete the track?
