Hi - The rules for two derivative tracks that I recently created are distorted and/or contain a typo. The presentation / format was altered in a different and bad way, from what it looked like in the parent track. Could you please fix the formatting and typo for the following tracks. The typo is Second Cut Length = Shore and should be Short. Thanks.

Here it is Barthax-> I'm using a PS2 Test system which is by Sony and has no region lockout. The BIOS mode is PAL 50Hz but the PS2 games run natively at their intended region: you can see the switch to NTSC 60Hz at 2:36 on the camera footage.

Hi Jonny,

I think you're misunderstanding the TG Commissioner's entry point into these discussions. If the submission is accepted by the community then you get to open a dispute against the score. If the community votes Yes many times on the dispute, then the TG Commissioner takes a look. For now, if you don't agree with it, you have the option of voting No or abstaining.

In my submissions, I am using original hardware - designed and produced by Sony with no modifications made. TG policy is to use original hardware.

Bump - I'm about to create two more derivative tracks and unless something changed, I'll spread the bad rule presentation formats some more. Trying to give you a heads-up so you don't have to 'clean-up' 20+ track rules when all the derivative tracks are created.

Some players' names are completely garbled.

It appears as though the site is not properly displaying letters with accent marks on them.

This is just one example, but there are many others that I have noticed.

There's 2 game tracks which I'm sure can be removed from the TG database:

I'm pretty sure the game Squid Search does not exist, and that this track harks back to some TG 'treasure hunt' years ago. There are 5 scores all verified on the same day, and the 'players' all have mostly dodgy names and no other scores at TG. I think the game was left in the TG database to expose anyone else who may have somehow gotten a score on this game, however even if that was the case it would no longer serve that purpose.

The old TG (my era was 2004-2010 as a referee) very rarely accepted anything Japanese and almost certainly did not accept Super Famicom as a result. The rules will very likely have been created by Kelly Flewin, who created most of the tracks attributed to "Twin Galaxies" for the NES & SNES tracks (but certainly not all of them) - the style of using "Special Rules" pretty much began with Kelly Flewin and his first two major projects were NES & SNES. I don't disagree with this idea in principle for the reasons outlined, but in fairness the track is labeled SNES/SFC, implying a Super Famicon Cartridge would be acceptable. I agree that clarification would be needed in the future.
