Sometimes the notifications don't say the name of the game:

Missing search result "set" from the global search feature: tracks.

Using the global search facility at the top of the pages, the results do not include a search of the scoreboard tracks. For example, if I search for "Hydro Thunder" I can find that it is listed against several platforms but the search results do not reference the "Midway Arcade Treasures 3" tracks which include the game. Similarly, if I wanted to search for all the "Lost Island" tracks, I only get the submissions listings.

Unless I'm missing it, it appears as though a member's real name only appears on the scoreboard/submissions. So if a member has no score submissions, we don't know what their name is. I feel this used to be clearly displayed on the member's profile page.

This one is a unique situation.

When @jmb made his submission (https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/155559), it appears as though the rules section was blank:

This is confirmed verbally by John in his video. Since there were no specific rules, John started his game at level 6.

Sometime between when he submitted and now, the rules were changed from blank to "default settings". Default settings would suggest that you must start at level 1.

My argument is that the rules for this track were incorrectly written after submissions were accepted, with out taking in to consideration as to how the accepted submissions were performed.

I'm proposing the rules be changed from "default settings" to "player may freely select their starting level".

The Angry Bird tracks on Android for Flock Favourites levels 29-16 through 29-30 need some TLC renaming as Rovio (the makers) decided to rename those levels.

Could someone rename the levels as follows:

Flock Favorites - 30-1 (formerly 29-16)

Flock Favorites - 30-2 (formerly 29-17)

Flock Favorites - 30-3 (formerly 29-18)

... (through to)

Flock Favorites - 30-13 (formerly 29-28)

In this thread you can read about the derivative tracks that were created incorrectly due to lack of guidance on the TG site. Tracks were created as derivative tracks. Gamer did not know or see that it was possible to load additional "non-parent" ones with not selecting "I am founder of these tracks. Suggested [GAMENAME] tag subtily appear if one do type in the text.

TG to correct these tracks FOUR steps are needed.

STEP1: TG to delete all derivative tracks that do not have scores submitted against them.

STEP2: Francois re-create these tracks with correct rules

STEP3: Francois create tracks for those that do have scores against them with "TGTS/TGSAP" as

part of the [DESCRIPTION] to differentiate them from the incorrect ones

STEP4: TG move incorrect track scores to correct track. Only about 10 or so from the very long list of 60.

No continues. PCB need not be shown. If submitting a Two Player performance, both players must begin at the same time at the start of the game. Game settings as defined in the track description or rules must be able to be verified visually, either by info on the game play screen or by showing the game settings screen in system mode, setup mode, etc. If a game setting is not specified by the track description or rules, that setting is to be left at the factory/default game setting by using the system option on the multi PCB to restore factory/default game settings. If the multi PCB does not have a system option to restore factory/default game settings, the game setting(s) to be left at default should best reflect the factory/default game settings on the original dedicated arcade PCB whenever possible.Participants are encouraged to include any and all information about the make/model of multi-PCB being used.

I still say that feature should be used to help clear out the queue a bit.

The submissions listed there should stay there, until accepted or rejected, with a small bonus cr/sp whatever for voters. When something is accepted/rejected, it is randomly replaced with another submission.

Thinking that would help clear up mebbe 10 subs a day even.

Just a random idea, I'm not married to it.

Yes, they seem to have removed the attachment section from this new submission layout. So far, I've seen people just attach the .zip to another post in the thread...until this gets fixed, you could do this as a workaround.

This is a big oversight...I'm speechless.

not sure how but my ninja turtles score submission for ntsc is pending approval in the pal section for hero turtles? my play was done on a us console anyone able to fix that or do i need to resubmit?

The field to record WolfMAME version number has also disappeared.

RE: INP attachment, I just dropped mine in the "Evidence Description" message field, and it worked. But that's neither intuitive nor an improvement.

Hey Barthax, seems very straightforward but just to be 100% clear on these edits before I launch in.

Basically every track currently titled "Flock Favorites 29-16" through to "Flock Favorites 29-30" needs to be renamed "Flock Favorites 30-1" (and counting, all the way up to "Flock Favorites 30-15").

Just so you know, I just tried fixing the problems you reported with the 2 track titles being the wrong way round. This has unfortunately caused one of the tracks to now disappear (I did give one of the tracks a temporary title to avoid both being called the same thing at the same time, so that's not been the issue).

I'm having to pass this onto IT to look into.

Can I double confirm that it is simply a case that the track titles are the issue here, and not that the rules are the wrong way round? For example, the F-3000 scores are for definitely for Formula 3, and not F-3000? If the scores are in the correct place, then I should be swapping the rules round, not the track titles.

Flock Favorites tracks 29-1 through 29-15 are correct and need not be altered.

Flock Favorites tracks 29-16 through 29-30 are to altered to represent both their new and old designations. Some older footage will of course have 29-16 through 29-30 and must still be suported in the track title. That way it avoids silly misunderstandings and disputes.

The space character that is in some of the track titles should be removed, too. :D These were the original TG-created track titles back when Android platform and a select few titles/tracks were added.
