@admin staff i have been setting quick times on GTA 5 darts 301 settings, following the game rules. timer MUST be in view etc.

Redelf has mentioned the fact of timings rounded to the full second and not using milliseconds, which i don't mind...

But another issue is that i can be visibly seen starting and stopping the timer, but the actual record states the timer starts asap the score starts subtracting from grand total.

Either way fits my game play.

Is there a question here? Trying to understand. What is the error being reported?

Just a quick rename so it will populate with the same title for other systems.

Currently - Chase H.Q. [World]

All other versions of this game for any system is just Chase H.Q.

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/chase-hq-world

Please change it to just Chase H.Q.

Then for the title of the track you can put [World] or [World rom set] or Points Chasehq [World]

This way when you find any of the chase h.q you can see the rest in the drop down for platform

Thanks

Not sure if this is due to the name.

@admin staff can you please make sure that the MAME version of Chase H.Q. (which is this link - https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/chase-hq-world) properly appears under the PLATFORM selection listing?

Here is a screenshot of the ARCADE listing of Chase H.Q. and you will see that when I select PLATFORM, the MAME version of the game is not listed, even though it is at the link above in the database. PLEASE FIX!

I should have started mentioning it earlier, it's always frustrated me about arcade and mame not showing up in the drop down platform. Many mame games do it, joust, defender, centipede, and the list goes on.

It seems to do with the [??????] part of the naming. Typical game just shows name, but mame likes to add some other part to the name, world, japan, red label, and such.

Dig Dug II [New vers.] for MAME

https://www.twingalaxies.com/easysubmit.php?variation_id=7718

The submission page linked above is missing both the track rules and the manage attachments button.

Also there is nowhere to enter the MAME version used. As a result the track can't be submitted to. This was the case before the site upgrade.

Some site sections are barely legible in Dark Mode due to too low colour contrast. The first screenshot is about what comes into view when you click on "Activity" and then on "Founded Tracks". The second one displays the creation of a derivative track.

@admin staff please tell designer to fix!

This is fixed but the person who created the source video should make some changes to their settings, otherwise this may happen again.

My guess is that the source video was created/compressed with unusual and non-standard settings that somehow created a non-standard container. @Barthax please try to run your videos through handbrake or something in the future to get a more standard file container (or something, I dunno)

Seems fixed. Is this still a problem?

FLV files as created by Windows OBS as used by thousands (millions?) of people on Twitch and YouTube. No tweaks or weird stuff like I used to do with my AVI files. Both were successfully accepted by TG's third-party hosting for years until they changed something destroying the ability to play these old submissions that were proven good at the time of submission. These days I try to remember to convert to MP4 using H.264 video and AAC audio.

Could the game name of "Diet Go Go [Euro v1.1 1992.09.26]" on MAME be updated to reflect the changes in MAME over the years, please. It should now be:

Diet Go Go (Euro v1.1 1992.09.26 v2)

- 0.240: Sergio Galiano and Recreativos Piscis added Diet Go Go (Euro v1.1 1992.09.26 v3). Note: Same version 1.1 and same date as dietgoe but newer version in rom labels. Changed (Euro v1.1 1992.09.26) to clone 'Diet Go Go (Euro v1.1 1992.09.26 v2)'. Renamed (dietgoe) to (dietgoea) and (dietgo) to (dietgoe).

TG Game Entry: https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/diet-go-go-euro-v11-19920926/mame
Rules, Points [1 Player Only]: https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=26103
Rules, Points [2 Player Team]: https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=26104

In addition to the game name, can the rules be updated to reflect the change in ROM set also.

Before:

ROMSet: DietGo

After:

ROM Set:
0.106-0.239: dietgo - "Diet Go Go (Euro v1.1 1992.09.26)"
0.240-0.250: dietgoe - "Diet Go Go (Euro v1.1 1992.09.26 v2)"

Thanks. :D

I noticed there are several tracks in the View Proposed Leaderboards page that suffer from mistake or other issue that the track founder has identified and requested "don't approve" or "don't vote." In order to reduce clutter from these tracks is there a way for track founders to delete them, or would admin delete these tracks after X number of days? I don't see a method to clear the Proposed Leaderboards page otherwise. Others have asked the same in the leaderboard threads but I thought I'd raise it here as well for greater visibility.

The submission page still looked the same missing the items I mentioned. However by selecting a different game from the drop down menu the place to enter MAME version used and the manage attachments button both appeared. I was then able to re-select Dig Dug II from the drop down menu and submit successfully

Please change Platform from Speedruns to MAME.

Namco Museum on PS2, Xbox, and GameCube still has an error with Pole Position II.
The rules say, "Qualifying Difficulty = 4" but Pole Position II does not use numerical difficulty. They only have four difficulty settings, "Easy, Normal, Hard, Very Hard." (or something to that effect.)

For the MAME game "Forgotten Worlds [US]" could the game name be updated in line with updates within MAME, please: "Forgotten Worlds (USA, B-Board 88618B-2, Rev. A)". You can see the several changes this has taken place in the existing rules via the ROM set already but as there are now more than one US version of the game, this helps clarify.

TG Game Entry: https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/forgotten-worlds-us/mame/
Rules, Points [Single Player Only]: https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=14433
Rules, Points [Two Player Team]: https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=14434

Additionally, could the Difficulty rule be updated to reflect the change made in 0.148u5:

- 0.148u5: Andrew Gardner added QSound internal DSP ROM to the device. Added DSP16 (4MHz) CPU3. Sonikos fixed 'Difficulty' dipswitch which has in the tab menu values from 1 (easiest) to 8 (hardest) but in the game's menu it's from 0 to 7.

Before:

Difficulty: 4 [Normal]

After:

Difficulty: 3 (Normal). Note: for MAME 0.148 and prior, this setting must be "4 (Normal)" to match the rule.

Thanks. :D

This track should have a field to enter a score, and highest is better, but it has time entry instead.
