In my case, no steam achievements show up.

If I click the link to Steam, I can see the achievements.

I've noticed another problem in https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/candy-crush-saga/ios . None of my new #1 scores are earning me ESI but any score that slots under Brandon's score gives him ESI.

Your profile is not set to full public access, so I dont think the system can pull your achievements. Can you check and see if your steam settings have the information marked private?

My profile is public. Game details was not, so I put that public too.

In a non-logged in browser, I can see the number of achievements, and click on them to see more.

Does this section work for anyone else? If it does, I'll just chalk it up to my steam account being weird. Not a big deal.

But if it is broken for everyone then maybe it can be looked at and fixed.

Thanks

Greetings Admin Staff,
Thank you for fixing the spacing of the rules on MUD FIM Motocross World Championship for PS3.
I just created another track (https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/sbk-generations/playstation-3) and again it has squeezed together all the info in the 'rules' section.

Am I doing something wrong? Ive tried using both the 'Enter' (return) button and 'Shift+Enter' and both of them get deleted once the track gets accepted.
The wording doesnt appear this way when I fill out the form or when it sits in the proposed leaderboards section, it only happens once the track gets fully funded and accepted. In some cases it makes it so the rules are barely legible or discernable.

This has happened to all 3 PS3 tracks I've created lately, 'Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing', 'MUD FIM Motocross World Championship' and 'SBK Generations'. I'd be happy to make the fixes myself if I had the ability.

Im also afraid to make more derivative tracks because I dont know if the rules will be able to be changed and reformatted in one-fail-swoop or if it will have to be done one-by-one, and I dont want to make a bigger mess for whoever has to fix it, so Idk if I should continue making derivatives with those tracks or not.

Finally, if someone more experienced in track making than myself could please tell me, is there some way I can type out the rules to avoid this happening?

Link to the Sonic racing track this happened to me on as well, though this one is more minor than the other two:

Thanks

The problem is with lines as you surmise. Write the rules as one awful block of text using full stops to delimit settings or ideas. I've tried various ways of the years and have settled on using [1] type notes like in Dynasyty Warriors 8 for anything that needs expanding:

Score taken from the Battle Results screen. Must use Free Mode with Offline Play. No Online Play, no Story Mode and no Ambition Mode results permitted. The player may use any unlocked character regardless of the in-game indication of the Forces (see Note [1]). The character may be equipped with any unlocked weapons, skills or animals. Hypothetical setting may be On or Off (see Note [2]). The difficulty must match the indicated difficulty of the Twin Galaxies' track title. The player must achieve a Victory status in the battle. The player may use the Pause menu to issue commands to the bodyguards but no more than five (5) times in any attempt at the scenario. Note [1] on track titles vs. in-game battles: many battles in the game are included multiple times with different starting points and/or battle aims. Where the in-game battle title includes mention of Forces, this must match the Twin Galaxies' track title and where the in-game battle does not mention the Forces, the Twin Galaxies' track title must also fail to mention them. Note [2]: the Hypthetical setting alters the potential for the number and identity of the officers present in the battle. With Hypothetical enabled, additional scenarios may become available or people that were not alive at the time of the real events may make appearances, for example. The player may take advantage of either Hypothetical setting (On or Off) to achieve best results. These rules do not differentiate the two. Note [3]: the Twin Galaxies' track title includes Free Mode's Battlefield Name and Kingdom Name in the format Battlefield/Kingdom. The player can choose the battle from either section (it is the same battle). It is mentioned in the track title only as a guide to help players locate the battle.

Looks awful...

@admin staff @Jace Hall is this issue with the spacing in the rules section of user created tracks something that can be remedied or should TG track creators adapt to this and write the rules knowing that this bug will happen?

Sorry, one more thing concerning the spacing in the rules section of 'SBK Generations' (https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/sbk-generations/playstation-3)

The jumbled rules read:

"Submitter must show boot up of the game from the PS3 homescreen. From 'SBK Generations' home menu choose Press Start > Free Play > Quick Race.Submitter must show 'Simulation Settings' and 'Race Options' menu's so that viewers may confirm the correct settings are used.Simulation Settings:Simulation Level: "Medium" or "Full"All other simulation settings are players choiceRace Options:Race Penalties: YesStart Position: RandomOpponents Skill: "Amateur" or betterWeather Conditions: RandomRace Length: 25%Any options/settings not listed are players choice.Gamer may choose any rider, including unlockable/created riders "

and here is how it looked when I proposed the track:

"Submitter must show boot up of the game from the PS3 homescreen.
From 'SBK Generations' home menu choose Press Start > Free Play > Quick Race.
Submitter must show 'Simulation Settings' and 'Race Options' menu's so that viewers may confirm the correct settings are used.

Simulation Settings:
Simulation Level: "Medium" or "Full"
All other simulation settings are players choice

Race Options:
Race Penalties: Yes
Start Position: Random
Opponents Skill: "Amateur" or better
Weather Conditions: Random
Race Length: 25%
Any options/settings not listed are players choice.
Gamer may choose any rider, including unlockable/created riders."

Figured this would make it a little easier to fix the issue. Thanks again

I'm seeing a rise in the "Sorry this media is offline" or other, seemingly temporary, vzaar player errors. These can continue for many hours after the submission is live and are intermittent across submissions even by the same submitter.

For example, this morning I made the following three submissions, each with a different video:

https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/249385-PlayStation-3-Pure-Race-Alto-Vista-Class-A-Single-Lap-Time-01-42-27

https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/249388-PlayStation-3-Pure-Sprint-Alto-Vista-Class-D-Single-Lap-Time-25-52

https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/249386-PlayStation-3-Pure-Sprint-Mount-Garda-Class-D-Single-Lap-Time-19-32

The first is HD quality and the latter two are SD quality (recorded the same day, same equipment). The last one remains "offline" and was completed around 7:55AM BST - it's now 12:35PM BST. A couple of MyOwnWorstEnemy's submissions from earlier are also being indicated as offline:

https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/249381-PlayStation-2-Tiger-Woods-PGA-Tour-2004-NTSC-Penguin-Falls-Easy-Difficulty-Fewest-Strokes-41

https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/249382-PlayStation-2-Tiger-Woods-PGA-Tour-2004-NTSC-Scenario-Rainy-Finish-Least-Strokes-63

Is there anything you can highlight as to the cause?

Hi

We will fix this issue permanently . Right now we have two high priority items

1) bounty system

2) Intorducing new feature to show the voting status for pending submissions

Will work on formatting after we get the above done

Need Assistance!

The video was successfully uploaded twice, once when completing the submission form and once as additional evidence. Unfortunately the adjudicators are unable to view it as it states "the video is offline". The original video plays fine on my end. Can you check to see why this video is not available on your end / 3rd party video host? Thanks!

Update - One of the two submission videos is now available... the one listed above still shows that its offline.

In the navigation bar at the top of the website 'Archive' is listed as one of the available options. When one clicks 'Archive' they are given the option of 3 choices, one of them being 'Legacy Article Archive'.

Yet when one clicks on 'Legacy Article Archive' they are taken to the page which says
"you do not have permission to access this page..." yada yada

Why is this link listed in the navigation bar if members aren't allowed to actually see the link?
Is it supposed to be this way? Just seems like if this is something admin didnt want users to see they wouldnt list it in the navigation bar which is basically inviting people to the link, or have it on the front end of the website at all.

Building on this change (I see that the 'Legacy Article Archive' is gone), could we add a new tab/link under "Archive" that points to "Historical Archives" or "Historical Area" with this link?

https://www.twingalaxies.com/wiki_index.php?title=Historical

Currently, this link is found under Community / Explore TG wiki, and then once you land on the Wiki, one can see the link to the Historical area.
