Dear Community,

You may or may not have seen this recent editorial article featuring TG members and some of their achievements:

TG editorial is going to start doing this much more frequently and will be featuring and promoting top submitted performances and players to the mainstream public to help bring more and more attention to TG player achievement specifically.

The article format will include the actual video performances (only uploaded direct to TG will be featured) and it will include your TG profile picture card.

Your TG profile picture card is important, and you should treat it as such. Many of you already have, such as @GibGirl in the above image (THANK YOU GIBGIRL!!! YOU ARE GREAT!)

Your TG profile card image is your public front facing image of you as a TG member and in order to help build recognition and credibility for you we encourage everyone to please upload an appropriate image to their profile if you have any interest in being featured by TG editorial in these articles.

TG continues to work hard on many fronts to bring more relevance and recognition to player achievement.

Helps highlight that I need to find a better picture that actually fills the vertical height of the card...

Will only real-person pictures be considered or is it treated like an “avatar”?

I've put my image up a few times, I'm not exactly private about it, but I do prefer images of my spiders(they are my spiders, and my images), and I think mebbe some would be disappointed in me if I changed that up.
I'll likely sell out eventually, I usually do, lol!

Pretty neat, though-I'd love seeing more news about the active members here, for sure!

I've actually been curious for a while, and nows a good time to ask. Why are our picture, i guess avatars, whatever, the picture that shows up when we post in forums and the profile picture different? Both are same ratios so I'm not sure why I wouldnt just use the same pic for both, what should I be considering when deciding which photo for each?

Also, "appropriate' image, does that just mean no obscenity, or does it go further? Like "appropriate" means its supposed to be of you and not a cartoon or something?

I was very surprised to see one of my subs on there!
I really enjoyed reading the article, it felt I actually achieved something pretty special.

cant wait to see and read more of these!

Now that we have profiles to view is there any plans on adding back the counter to see how many people have checked you out?

@Jace Hall, you know what would be great? If we could know the exact dimensions of the photo for the card so we can more easily get one at the right size.

I believe it is 250x300
