Dear Community


We have added the submission points calculation and the formula under the Activity tab in the user profile page.

The Activity page shows the total count and details of each count .

Users may check the numbers and report any discrepancies. Please use the exact formula provided on the profile page.

I understand your point about keeping it simple and also acknowledge that numbers are not getting updated immediately after the notifications .


I really take all of users' feedback as an effort to help us in making our ecosystem stronger and error free.


We are running the calculation services now every time a submission gets processed . This might be causing a delay in updating the numbers but it cannot be more than 10 minutes.


I will keep monitoring this and update about the findings.

@barthax's simple formula:


I spend 3, my total goes down by 3.

I earn 1, my total goes up by 1.


Sometimes simple is best.


Such is the price I suppose for creating and maintaining a virtual economy.

Then please, give us a tick box or something to toggle the order of RIGHT VOTES so we can put them in the same order as the notifications, so comparing can be done with less hassle.

That would explain the delay, and comments from at least one other user earlier in the day inquiring about it.


I think most of us recognize that sub approvals come in batches every ten minutes.


A possible solution:


1. sub gets approved

2. run whatever calculation is required to "fix" things

3. then notify users that subs were approved prior to the next ten minute window opening


By notifying the user last in this sequence, the user will see they should have earned a point, check their balance and see the point was in fact earned.


This does not resolve expenses though. Spend 3 points and they'll still be in the account until the 10 minute window resolves.


It would sure be easier if this "fix" part wasn't required and the original ins and outs just occurred. I have no suggestion for expenses.

Hi Max


The expenses, award ,penalties, points donated for tracks , points for certificates are all being recalculated every 10 minutes for the users whose submissions were processed and all users who voted on those submissions .


Also the main recalculation service runs every day once which recalculates all stats for all users
