I saw this being pushed on the PSN store as a pre-order discount. I'll probably wait for a bit and get a physical copy (if released on disc) at some point. My interest is peaked.

It is getting a physical release from what I understand. I'm definitely getting it.

Yeah I think your right... I'll by the physical and help keep GameStop in business a bit longer.

I've bought some games from them last week after hearing news about it. I got Horizon Zero Dawn complete and brand new for $17 plus a few older games. It is sad but they won't be around much because physical media isn't becoming a common necessity with the new generations.

Ok, played it some, and I think the fact that it's clearly Burnout in all but name is great - but also the biggest negative. Since it means we directly compare it to previous Burnout titles. And the fact that it's a small team and smaller budget show through. There are minor factors in the driving that don't feel quite the same. The crashes aren't as interesting and detailed. The UI isn't well developed. There's no built-in soundtrack (though the Spotify integration is awesome). It's harder to see traffic and the track ahead of you. The locations for the tracks aren't as varied.

I'd say it's a great choice if you've exhausted the existing Burnout games and really want more - because that's what it is. But if you haven't played through the older ones, then go there instead, as they're better - as they should be, as they (at least 3 and beyond) were AAA titles.
