State championship for my nephew this Thursday.

A cool side note I have going on this Thursday. My nephew is playing for a state championship in football. Semi finals he had 263 yds of total offense and 5 TDs. Should be a great game. Game starts at 10am central. He is number 9 for the Audubon Wheelers. Not sure if this has any relevance to any of you at all but life is more than gaming (not much) and this is a pretty cool moment. His team hasn't made it to state in 42 years so it's a pretty big deal. He's a state shuttle hurdle relay guy as well. He doesnt look like he is fast when he runs but God damn, that kid can move!

Iowa public television will have the game as well as IHSSN.com should be streaming it. If you are bored, check it out.

How awesome is Al Bundy?! Not only is Al Bundy a stud football player, but his character in Little Giants was a Heisman winner. Apparently Ed O'Neil comes off as a guy who looks like he was really good at football, haha.

My Family is baseball peoples, mostly, but there's a Guy on the 49'ers roster(injured, I think), wears Blair 111 on his jersey, I did a double take!!!

Excellent, Kyle-can go a couple ways, pro career or not, good young athletes tend to become Great Leaders...

Or Bitter Jerks, lol-I'm sure you will keep him on the right track!!!

I thought I read somewhere that Ed played football and had a tryout for a pro team. Confirmed through Wikipedia that he was an undrafted player that was cut by the Steelers. Al Bundy only scored 4 touchdows so your nephew has bragging rights!

I think with those 5 TDs last game he has 38TD's for the season. He's not a very big kid at all. He's 6'2 and maybe 180 lbs at best. Still fun to watch. My family has a lot of athletic ability. I was All State Utility player in Baseball. My sis has (maybe had not sure if it's been beaten) the state record in Iowa for most career steals. She never played the 2nd half of her games her sophomore through senior years because they blew everybody out by 50. So essentially she averaged 9 steals per half a game, haha. I bet she averaged most steals per playing minutes though. Quick as a cat she is. She holds the 3pt and steal record at Northwest Missouri State. Had two cousins play college basketball. Another cousin play college football. It's kind of my fault I didn't play college ball anywhere. That is one huge regret I have in my life...can't get it back. I can still throw 92 MPH and that is without any training for 16 years. Just really fucking stupid on my part. If only I could turn my gaming into money...that's on me to I guess. I don't play main stream **** though so that will never happen. **** Fortnite, haha. But I got 4 kids and am happy and that's all that matters. I don't worry to much about the what ifs.

I remember reading that about Ed O'Neil as well. Burt Reynolds was a hell of a running back at Florida State I think. Kurt Russell was a hell of a baseball player. Roger Dorn from the movie Major League actually played College Baseball. Lots of actors gave up sports for their acting careers.
