While I understand that there will be times within the community where various people may not respect or get along well with each other for various non-adjudicative specific reasons, I would like to ask that we all try to take steps to avoid the expression of that occasional discord within the more restrictive TGSAP submission threads which are designed to be permanent and read by future site visitors forever.

TG will always endeavor to support free expression that falls within our Terms of Service, and obviously under that banner, a lot of off-topic non-adjudicative expression has historically gotten through in the TGSAP threads, but as we turn our attention more and more to improving the details and experience within the platform we need to be a little more restrictive in certain areas to support growth.

Thank you.

Let's be honest here... 98% of the screenshot abuser uses is unwanted and unneeded. Do we really need a screenshot of the leaderboard of the submission? Do we really need a screenshot of the entire wikipedia page? Do we really need a screenshot of the dips in the manual even though the rules clearly state what the dips are supposed to be set to? Do we really need 5-10 screenshots of the gameplay that are there to just add to the clutter? Dude screenshots an entire page and a half of info that absolutely adds nothing to the adjudication.

Nobody says you have to read it. I don't see anything wrong with it. He's just providing information and doing a thorough verification.

It's not *thoughtfully* being added. There's no time take to determine which information is necessary and relevant. It's jumping loads of information, much that is irrelevant noise, into threads. Maybe just in the hopes of continuing to get more likes and thanks?

Not to mention the mass spam creation of blogs he creates, (getting tagged in) on the same issue. Multiple times...Over and over, daily.

It all belongs in the dispute posts! (Even if it is meaningless over there)

Reminds me of this...

i've seen wiki links for the entirely wrong game. same name different system. that tells me its just a quick google search and paste. i've seen one thread where he literally screenshotted every comment above his and reposted them all. not sure what benefit duplicating every single comment provides.

but again, my fear is where do we draw the line? plenty of people think others still is wasteful. i'd rather allow to much than too little, so i just hope if this is cracked down on its done in such a way to only catch abuses

As @EVN pointed out earlier he spent six months learning to 1cc Final Fight only for JJT to spam screenshot the entire wikipedia page in the submission thread. What did that add? Absolutely nothing. And thorough verification? Be real dude. Just look at @Pearl2hu 's recent submission.

Guy doesnt even read the rules and makes a mockery of the submission. Eventually forcing Pearl to take a picture of his PC. He also likes to make up global rules for arcade games. Every time he steps into a submission thread its a complete disaster. Now picture if you were a new member and had to go through what Pearl is going through

Not to mention, CONSTANTLY and RUDELY publicly calling out the TG admins and management themselves...

He....never ...learns.

He...never...gets it.

@admin staff

Can you delete the extra reply?

Thank you

Are you clicking the "Submit" and "Post Now" button ONCE and ONCE only?

The site has been very slow, and when the pages doesn't reply right away please resist the urge to spam click the button.

[LOL.] . . . And how quickly did you spot that it was pornography, given that they were just tabs?

1. Where do you draw the line , on what is a Arcade game?

2. What should the criteria and qualifications be, to be a arcade game? How far is this going to go?

3. What platform should PC or Arcade fall under or create another video game platform for games like this?

3. Will there be different rules for different types of arcade games? What is considered a arcade game?

Ninglendo: Just look at @Pearl2hu 's recent submission.

Pretty quickly since it was labeled as such.

1. Read this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arcade_game

2. See number 1.

3. Leave it be. There is nothing wrong with the track. Learn to read the rules.

And yeah I did see that submission and its a prime example of how you muck up the submission threads. You didn't even read the rules it seems yet are making demands for these made up rules in your head. The rules clearly state a PC can be used yet you are barking orders at Pearl to show the PCB. It got so ridiculous that Pearl had to take a picture of his PC just to satisfy you. You also posted piracy links in that submission threads which is illegal. Pearl literally has a camera on his hands using the keyboard and you still can't tell its on a PC. After Pearl tells you its on PC you post this

1.Why did you not show the Arcade game setup that you are working with your desk top PC computer,& keyboard?
2. Why did you not show the Arcade - Giga Wing Generations PCB or is it just a Game software program from the Original game or was it uploaded or what, I do not know? That is why I am asking you sir.

Do you not see a problem with that? This is one of your top adjudicators TG haha

ANSWER to #1 :

Usually, the lines should be drawn in the middle of the page. A ruler is sometimes used for real straight lines. Does this make sense to you?

See this is why "credibility" is so stupid. You can have a guy who can't read rules as written or interpret DIP switch settings carry on like a pork chop and people have to deal with it because his vote carries more weight that someone with a clue.

"Credibility" should be earned by participation in gaming activities, not adjudicative activities. It should be platform dependent too. The people who have high "credibility" for arcade games should be the people who play arcade games.

Agreed. I would say the same thing for overall "ESI"... Because all it REALLY is, is a "participation" score index, and does not always measures ones "skill".
