Apologies for the longer than desired down time.

It was a little more challenging than anticipated to reconnect all the pipes and wires. :)

We still are not finished and will be working on getting everything smooth and relatively bug free again over the next few days but most of the heavy back end lifting is done.

We are aware of most of the issues, but please feel free to report any significant bugs you find relating to the profile page changes here on this post.

We appreciate your patience.

Sorry again for the disruption!

PS – as an added precaution you may want to clear your cache and cookies from your browser so you can make sure there is no residual trash data from The sites previous version! It may help with speed!

Hi Jace, can you give us a quick overview of what was changed? That will help us identify any problems. You have a loyal base of volunteer testers. Help us help you.

I filled in my steam profile (very excited!!) but the blue accept button is not active. Can't click it.

You have to scroll through the entire terms and services and it will activate.

I read the whole thing on the Speedrun connection, and the button activates, but nothing happens after I click it other than my profile name now appears. I suppose the system needs time to scrape the date from an external site.

I scrolled through twice, so I thought. No, I didn't actually read the legalize boiler plate. I got too much going on in my life such as: need to change my socks, noticed the lawn is getting a bit long, waiting for some paint to dry.

Steam community id = 17 digit number. I entered it, scrolled and scrolled, nothing.

** UPDATE1 **

After trying several times, I entered bogus info in the other boxes and still nothing. THEN out of frustration I grabbed the resize button and shook the window a bit. It worked! Weird.

** UPDATE2 **

The URL to display a steam profile is incorrect.

Wrong: https://www.steamcommunity.com/id/76561198004278352

Correct: https://www.steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198004278352

The profile section is missing the "TG Rankings" part. I can't see any of mys cores in my profile.

Edit: Nevermind, I found it.

Got my speedrun.com page added. It shows the last 10 runs I had approved, but not an subcategories.

Here is what shows up on Twin Galaxies.

The Hyrule Warriors Legends speedruns don't show the subcategories.

You can see next to "Adventure Mode" the subcategory.

Also, individual level runs don't show what level they were done on. Here is what the 4:50 time was for Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness.

And the 1:37:35 time lost its hour, and only shows as 37:35 on TG it seems.

The steam profile was a bit finicky for me too, but here are the steps to get it to work.

Within Steam -

Step 1: Go to your Stream Profile

Step 2: Click on Edit Profile

Step 3: Enter a custom URL that matches your steam name.

Back to Twin Galaxies:

Step 1: Go to your profile

Step 2: Edit your Steam Achievements field

Step 3: Enter your Steam ID - CASE SENSITIVE
(I can see that your Steam ID has a lowercase d. Please make sure you are entering it the same way)

Follow these steps and let me know if it works. :)

@Jace Hall @SincerelyFranny Is there a way to Opt out of these 3rd party achievements so they don't display on a profile? As in checking to see if the TG user has an associated ID for these and if so, then display the achievements bar thing on the profile?

Also, FYI, you can go to profile settings and add all of these 3rd party ids with no terms and conditions confirmation required. (https://www.twingalaxies.com/profile.php?do=editprofile)

Any news on when the page load issue will be fixed? I think it's been a good 6-12 months since this issue began and it's still as bad as ever. I did discover if you clear cached files and browser history (in chrome), this fixes the issue, but only for a few page loads, then your back to 1990s page load times or no page load at all.

The public view only shows the areas you fill out.

So you can see what I see when I look at your profile:

(Right click and open in a new tab to view full size)

I'm not sure I understand the second part of your first inquire.

I personally have this issue every once in a while, but it is very infrequent. How long would you say your load time is? Have you tried in any other browser and do you have the same experience? @admin staff

Concerning the bars showing, Makes sense, thanks! :P

As for the page load issue, nope, Chrome only here. If I find time I can try in FireFox or Internet Exploder.. It's more of page load stall then either the page times out or loads after waiting and waiting for a bit.
