I was a fan of monolith from the day I bought blood. I played that game for months and months and months. I especially loved multiplayer mode using dial-up. One-on-one fights were awesome.

Oops I did not mean to hit post now. I wasn't finished blabbing. I still have my how to program DirectX book that I bought in 1996. I was a big c programmer and I was going to change the world with my graphic prowess but then at work they discovered that I was really good at databases and COBOL programming so that's where my career changed. But I love reading about what companies were doing back then thank you for sharing this article.

Blood was such a great game. Though I only had the demo haha. That's one I'd like to go back to and play in full one of these days.
