Dele Alli. A name known to all football fans in the U.K and most elsewhere too, is an exceptional soccer player. He plays alongside Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen in the Tottenham Hotspur squad, and with Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard for England. Fortnite has been such a worldwide sensation that it’s been seen time and time again in the sporting world, through celebrations and the like. Last month, the UMBC basketball team credited Fortnite for inspiring their historic victory, while the Houston Astros have been enacting Fortnite celebrations multiple times over the last month. When Dele Alli scored the first goal in the F.A Cup semi-final against Manchester United last week, he took the floss dance that was made popular in Fortnite too, and used it by the corner flag. It doesn’t look like he’s too shabby at the game either. He’s playing squads currently, and has unlocked the John Wick skin, but whether he simply paid for it with his astronomical wages isn’t known. Not that it’d matter, but it would be even cooler to know that one of the world’s best soccer players is also damn good at the world’s most popular video game.
