The Week 1 challenges for Season 4 of Fortnite Battle Royale are now available for players to complete in order to gain those valuable battle stars that allow you to rise up the tiers of the Season 4 Battle Pass to unlock all of the new cosmetic items that have been added. The challenges to kick off Season 4 include one that has been a staple of Fortnite challenges throughout its history. This would be following a treasure map, which for Week 1 can be found in Tomato Town. 

The Tomato Town treasure map will take you to Loot Lake. Once you have arrived at Loot Lake head to the sunken boat found in the area, which you can find below thanks to Fortnite media outlet Fortnite Intel. 

All you have to do at this point is approach the sunken boat, and the battle star treasure will appear. You will then be able to interact with the battle star and collect it. However, in order to complete the challenge you must finish the match that you found the treasure in, or you will not be credited with the completion of the challenge. 

Season 4 has brought many more forms of content to Fortnite than just new challenges, as the meteor that has been the topic of speculation for the community for months has finally landed and destroyed Dusty Depot, while a new location called Risky Reels has been added to the map as well. In addition to the landscape changes, a whole new set of skins and other cosmetic items have been added into the battle royale game.
