The final four teams are ready to battle it out for the grand prize.

We’re at the end of the run for this season of the Heroes of the Dorm tournament, and just four teams remain to challenge for the grand prize. The final three matches will take place on Saturday May 12th, starting at 1300 PDT, with Rouge et Au from the Université Laval taking on Scratch 'em from the University of Kentucky. The second semi-final match will be at approximately 1430 PDT between the Pomona Ponies from Cal Poly Pomona, taking on ImprobaBull Victory from the University of Buffalo. Let’s take a brief look at the upcoming matches.

Rouge et Au vs Scratch ‘em

The Canadians from the Université Laval have the best win-rate of the four remaining teams. Their roster of Jerome “Earth” Levesque, Daniel “HairyBlob” Gourdeau, Simon “Electromad” Deroy, Patrick “Wouka” Langlois, Bruce “Nesdip” Jouve and Anthony Christopher “Quantum” Charron are looking to take home the grand prize and make a name for themselves in the Heroes of the Storm scene.

The Kentucky squad is led by two brothers, and have managed to turn their familial past into a tight knit group dedicated to winning it all. The roster of Mike “Quonzar” Dittert, Michael “Zabutak” Pina, Roger “RogerThat” Dittert, Daniel “Piccaboo” Pina, Noah “Gogoing” Overby and Travis “DarkShadow” Conley will be aiming to lock down their opponents and execute their game plan for victory.

Pomona Ponies vs ImprobaBull Victory

Cal Poly Pomona has been a mainstay in the Heroes of the Dorm competition since it began years ago, though this is the first time they’ve made it this far. The roster of Steven “Artificious” Nguyen, Andrew “Alterations” Koscal, Hunter “ElCazador” Gaukel, Joshua “Crabfish” Childers, Warren “PALLY” Willis and Matthew “loldotasotis” Moore are aiming to show their veteran status and claim the final prize from the other teams.

ImprobaBull Victory have shown some dominating performances in the lead up to the finals, and look to keep their streak going as they aim for the top spot. The roster of Allen “FantaFiction” Hu, Robert “Vader” Sands III, Jianyu “sethlordson” Zhang, Marc “Markybottz” Coiro and Justin “Matzoballz” Goo are certainly a team to watch out for.
