A plucky Twitter user was able to snag some details of the upcoming Anniversary event.

Even though it seems that we just finished the Retribution event, a leak from the Official Brazilian Overwatch account has revealed the date and some new details of the upcoming Anniversary event. Kicking off on the 22nd of May, the Anniversary event promises more than just a few new skins, though that is a given at this point.

The leaked teaser also reveals that previous content will be making a return during this event, meaning players might have another chance to claim previous event skins and other cosmetic items that they may have missed. It’s also teased that players will have the opportunity to experience previous arcade game modes, so we’ll have to see if our favourite Lucio Ball makes a return. The tweet in question has since been removed, and Blizzard have not yet come out to acknowledge it at this time. Overwatch has a storied history of leaks proving to be accurate, so hopefully this time will prove true as well, if only so we can get our hands on that Pirate Junkrat skin.

The timing of the event will coincide with the end of the opportunity for players to pick up the latest Charity offering from Blizzard, the Pink Mercy Skin. For more on Overwatch itself and how you can join one of the most popular games out there, check out the Official Website, here.
