New leaks have detailed a great deal of information regarding the possibility of Pokemon fans seeing two versions of a new Pokemon game coming to the Nintendo Switch in the future.

Nintendo Switch owners have been anxiously awaiting to hear any news regarding a new Pokemon game for Nintendo's latest console. According to a report from Comicbook.com, earlier this week, fans were treated to new details regarding a new Pokemon game for the Nintendo Switch by games industry insider Emily Rogers on a ResetEra thread. Rogers stated that the new game would be released this year and consist of two versions, such as the majority of titles in the franchise have had.

Rogers followed up these details with a post on her personal blog that the new Pokemon games for the Nintendo Switch were influenced by the success of the franchise's augmented reality game, Pokemon Go, and that the Nintendo Switch games could incorporate a peripheral device in the same way that Go did with its "Pokemon Go" Plus device.

Following Rogers' post on her blog, an alleged logo for the two versions of the upcoming Nintendo Switch game was posted on 4chan, and a list of alleged details regarding content in the two versions were posted on Twitter. According to these leaks, the two versions will be called Pokemon: Lets Go and will be remakes of Pokemon Yellow. Pikachu and Eevee will be the two starter Pokemon, so the two versions could possibly consist of a Pikachu edition and an Eevee edition.

Characters Red and Blue will play a role in the story that will be taking place in the Kanto region. The character that players will control and the rival of the players will allegedly be completely new trainers. The Pokeride feature from Sun and Moon will also allegedly be returning, and supposedly there will be an integration feature with Go and that catching Pokemon will allegedly function in the same as the augmented reality game.

It is important to note that none of these leaks have been confirmed by Nintendo. However, if the leaks do turn out to be true, players can expect to see two new games for the Nintendo Switch that will utilize content from one of the most popular games in the franchise, in addition to offering intergration with another popular entry in the franchise that has never been seen before.
