Original Story

The second edition of the Friday Fortnite Tournament hosted by popular YouTuber Daniel "KEEMSTAR" Keem and UMG has finally crowned its champions, as YouTubers Typical Gamer and SoaR Thief were able to claim the KEEMSTAR Fortnite Tournament championship and the $10,000 grand prize. Typical Gamer and SoaR Thief capped off their impressive winners bracket run through the KEEMSTAR Fortnite Tournament by defeating Team SoloMid Fortnite players Daequan and Hamlinz in the grand finals of the KEEMSTAR Tournament.

However, it was not an easy task for the YouTube duo, as the Team SoloMid team came out of the losers bracket on a hot streak that saw them force a bracket reset with a 2-0 victory in the first grand finals series. Clutch kills and an early lead secured in the first game of the second grand finals series would however be enough for Typical Gamer and SoaR Thief to secure the most kills in the grand finals, despite a last ditch push by Hamlinz of Team SoloMid at the very end.

This week's KEEMSTAR Fortnite Tournament saw many returning content creators, such as defending champions NICKMERCS and SypherPK, 100 Thieves owner Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag, and OpTic Gaming content creator Jack "Courage" Dunlop, compete once again in the highly popular battle royale event. Many new faces that consisted of some of the most popular content creators from Twitch and YouTube also made their debuts in the KEEMSTAR Fortnite Tournament, such as Tyler "Ninja" Belvins, Dr. Disrespect, Michael "shroud" Grzesiek.

With a multitude of the biggest names in gaming combined with seeing top level gameplay of the most popular video game in the world, the KEEMSTAR hosted event saw hundreds of thousands of viewers tune in across all of the individual streams to see their favorite content creators battle for the grand prize of $10,000.

With Typical Gamer and SoaR Thief taking home the second KEEMSTAR Fortnite Tournament championship and next week's grand prize increasing to $20,000, there will no doubt be many of the same well known competitors battling against one another for Fortnite glory and the largest prize in KEEMSTAR Friday Fortnite Tournament history.
