YouTuber Typical Gamer has announced that he will donate his share of the $10,000 grand prize that he and SoaR Thief won in May 19th's KEEMSTAR Friday Fortnite Tournament to charity.

The second edition of the Friday Fortnite Tournament hosted by YouTuber Daniel "KEEMSTAR" Keem and UMG saw the YouTuber duo of Typical Gamer and SoaR Thief take home the KEEMSTAR Fortnite Tournament championship and the $10,000 grand prize. Making their way through a brutal day of competitive Fortnite Battle Royale action, Typical gamer and SoaR Thief were able to survive as the last team standing in the KEEMSTAR Fortnite Tournament.

However, Typical Gamer not only was able to secure a Fortnite championship and a major milestone of over a million unique viewers during his streaming of the battle royale action, as he was also able to secure a large amount of money to give to a charitable cause.

After the event, Typical Gamer announced on Twitter that he would not be holding onto his half of the $10,000 grand prize and will be donating his share of his team's winnings from the KEEMSTAR Tournament to an unspecified charity.

With the second edition of the KEEMSTAR Tournament seeing an even more successful showing than the first weekly Friday Fortnite Tournament, many fans can be happy to see that the result of the highly anticipated battle royale event is the donation of thousands of dollars to a worthy cause.

Next Week's KEEMSTAR event will see an increased grand prize of $20,000, which means that an even larger charitable donation could possibly be made by the winning duo of the third edition of the KEEMSTAR Friday Fortnite Tournament. With a multitude of the most popular content creators from Twitch and YouTube all set to compete once again, there is sure to be no shortage of eyes to see which team that could possibly be.
