Michael "Venom Page decided to pay homage to Fortnite Battle Royale and Avengers: Infinity War after his victory at the Bellator 200 Mixed Martial Arts event Friday, May 25th.

Michael "Venom" Page returned to the mixed martial arts ring after 18 months at Friday. May 25th's Bellator 200 event. Page was able to claim victory over his opponent of David Rickles in the fight by way of verbal submission from Rickles and decided to celebrate by paying homage to two of the biggest entertainment products in the world at the moment in Fortnite Battle Royale and Avengers: Infinity War. The Bellator MMA fighter did so by pulling out his own Infinity Gauntlet, complete with all six Infinity Stones, and then proceeded to perform the Fortnite 'L" Dance and "Shoot Dance"

In an interview with Metro before the his fight with Rickles, Michael "Venom" Page explained that it was important for him to design his new celebration around relevant topics, and it would be hard to argue that Fortnite and Avengers: Infinity War are not two of the most relevant topics in the world currently. Michael "Venom" Page also stated that he had taken notice of Fortnite dances being used by other professional athletes, such as soccer player Antoine Griezmann.

"We’re still brainstorming on a few things. We just had a brother-in-law sort out the music, so that should sound really good. And I’m hoping for a big bang finish. It’s all brainstorming still, it could change. There’s loads, all the up and coming dance moves, games, new movies coming," said Page. "There’s so much out there, I saw Antoine Griezmann doing the Fortnite dance. ‘There’s so much out there these days, it’s hard to decide. There’s so many different things going off at the same time. I like to leave it to as close as possible and pick the most relevant."

This is not the first time that Michael "Venom" Page has utilized a popular entertainment franchise as the center piece of his post fight celebrations, as the Bellator fighter pulled out a Pokemon hat and threw a pokeball at one of his defeated opponents back in 2016.

Page made sure to also include a reference to the Infinity Gauntlet in his post match interview, as he stated "Just let me click my fingers. I'm taking over everybody, everybody."

With a vast array of popular and entertaining dances contained within Fortnite, there is a high possibility that fans could be seeing Michael "Venom" Page utilize another well known Fortnite emote in his next victory celebration. His future opponents will no doubt be wary of fighting Michael "Venom" Page with the power of the Infinity Gauntlet behind him.
