Robbie Lakeman continues to solidify his reign as the best Donkey Kong player in the world with his latest Donkey Kong Twitch stream, topping his own previous record by thousands of points.

The king of Donkey Kong, Robbie Lakeman, set the previous world record on December 21st, 2017 with a high score of 1,230,100, during a three-and-a-half hour run on one credit. His score was officially verified by Twin Galaxies on the official Donkey Kong scoreboard and the record was his to call his own. But this King of Kong isn't resting on his laurels. Robbie told us in the interview that he knew he could do even better and he recently proved it in a new and fantastic Donkey Kong playthrough.

Robbie's previous achievement only lasted for little over a month before the Donkey King master himself was able to achieve a new high score of 1,247,700 on his personal Twitch stream in a three hour and 49 minute run on February 2nd, 2018. Much like his previous performance, Robbie's latest is a masterclass of barrel arrangement, point pushing, and just a little bit of help from the game itself when it came to fire and other random factors within the game.

Robbie Lakeman has not posted an official submission of the score to Twin Galaxies' scoreboards for official adjudication and recognition as of yet. However, the Twitch stream clearly shows the record run playing out in all of its splendor, complete with proper checks on the arcade machine following the run.

As we wait on proper adjudication, we will follow the story as it progresses. In the meantime,Twin Galaxies offers an initial congratulations to Robbie on another stellar performance. He's looking to be a fighting champ to say the least.
