Guy "Dr. Disrespect" Beahm and Michael "shroud" Grzesiek are the top two Twitch streamers for the battle royale title Player Unknowns Battlegrounds (PUBG), as their unique personalities and entertaining gameplay routinely pulls in tens of thousands of viewers every day.
With Dr. Disrespect and shroud being the most popular PUBG streamers on Twitch, many members of the PUBG community were wondering if the battle royale title would ever add personalized in-game cosmetic items for either shroud or Dr. Disrespect, as he two players have stuck to playing the title when many Twitch streamers have made the full-time switch to Fortnite Battle Royale in the past few months.
The idea for a Dr. Disrespect PUBG skin came to a fever pitch recently, as the doc posted a tweet threatening that he would never play PUBG again if the developer of the title did not add a Dr. Disrespect skin into the game, and it looks as though his request was granted.
The unofficial confirmation of the streamer's skin came from data-miners who recently leaked two new skins for Dr. Disrespect and shroud each via the website Skin-Tracker.
The two shroud skins go by the "Ghosted" name, while the two Dr. Disrespect skins go by the "Speed and Momentum" name. Each of the two skins for shroud and the doc feature the streamers' logos and color schemes and are featured on the M416 assault rifle and Kar98k sniper rifle.
While the threat from Dr. Disrespect was most likely a part of a plan to help build excitement for the skins, it is a strategic move by Bluehole to create skins for shroud and the doc. The two popular PUBG streamers have thousands of fans who will most likely be excited to add the Ghosted and Speed and Momentum skins to their PUBG cosmetic collections.
No details regarding how players can acquire the shroud and Dr. Disrespect PUBG skins have been announced or discovered, but the four new items were reportedly added as part of the test server update that is set to go live on June 1st.
